While training is over (more or less) I'm still in Italy till Sunday, but I intend to sleep through work Monday and probably Tuesday too. I have a sneaking suspicion that I will again be on the move before the end of the week. Which will make it very hard to buy a new laptop and do other stuff like pay bills for the apartment...I can haz...life?

I am surprised they still have TV's doesn't everyone just stream that sort of information now...honestly with the warwalls, the weather is pretty darn static. You'd only have to be slightly smarter than a dog to forecast in paragon and praetoria. Now if she was forecasting the "coming storm" well that would be something else entirely.

The thing that grabs me most is the flatness of the whole thing contrasted by the depth of the rivets over the mouthpiece. I would look at some shading tutorials. CR will probably help you with that.
I think you did a really good job with the textures and using it to apply a "used" look to the helmet. As you get the shading going don't forget to keep the textures in line with the curves of the helmet. -
How did you pull off the detached sleeves? Or is that an after market addition?
