i really liked your arc, it was kind of fun to go back and fignt clockwork. not the vahz though, i hate the vaz... i ran with my lvl 17-18 blaster (AR/dev) and a friend that was a WP tank, on heroic. no real problems with overall difficulty.

ok, there were a couple of typos. unfortunately i did not write them down as i saw them, that is too organized. one was basis, when it should have been bases. another was the word medicine in the last mission, think. i also saw an extra the in the second mission text. that might have been a boss description. sorry, i cannot be more precise.

i liked the story. the couple of things that bothered me were the two sisters. they just seemed kind of arbitrary and thrown in, especially their powers. not sure if they fit the themes very well. they seemed alien to the whole story. maybe that was what you were intending. othnerwise the story flowed nicely. i was really blad to have tiktok along for the last mission. he was a great help and fit hnis theme well.

i like your use of these characters. i have hot read these stories since i was a kid and barely remember them. i guess i will have to dib them up. 4/5 stars

    now for mine again...
i have 14 ratings on my 2 arcs, but only 7 completions. this is kind of annoying, because this means thnat people quit well before the story gets interesting. at first i thought it was because it was too hard. but i just soloed it on heroic with a lvl 17 blaster (AR/dev) and did not nave too many difficulties. yes i died once with thne EB (boss on heroic) and twice witn the AV (elite boss). but they are not gratuitous bosses. i think the story ramps up in difficulty nicely. maybe this is the problem though... people give up when they start dying. but that is because they are not adjusting their tactics.

after some feedback earlier in this forum and testing with my lowbie blaster, i made a few adjustments. some more people would test it i would appreciate your honest feedback. it is the welcome to donut world arc, id# 1233. thank you.

I did feedback on someone else's arc a few pages back and that means someone owes me a playthrough of mine! It's still sitting at zero ratings after being up for several days, and this is making me sad.

great story and it left me hanging for more. excellent story line and nice character creation. i ran your arc with a 47 mace/shield tank on heroic. no problems with typos, it looked cleahed up. one patrol in the last missihn had $name in the dialogue. the fihnal ally did nothing to help and did not move until all were killed. i am not sure if this is what you were intending, since she was way in the back. othnerwise it might be a setting.

i really like the part where you can save citizens, while not a requirement it off balances the fact that you have to combat the police. one problem that i encountered is that i killed one of the bad captains and somehow missed the attached minion. after searchning around the map fruitlessly i resorted to killing minions until i randomly killed the correct minion. you might change it so it is the task is complete with boss kill.

otherwise no real problems. nice level of detail and character costumes. the time that i lost the contact as an ally made me laugh when he called me an imbecile. great job!

please try out my missions and give me some feedback. my welcome to dohnut world arc is the one that i am serious about. i have gotten some complaints that some of the minions are too hard ahnd i have tried to adjust, but i think people are not really trying hard enough. they are generally set on standard, even the LT's that everyone hates are set on standard... it is a bood story and some are there to create tension and make you paranoid. i will not nerf some, but i am willing to listen to feedback. i know it stillneeds some detail and i will work on it soon. whatever you can give me will ge greatly appreciated. thank you.

I just ran "Welcome to Donut World". Soloed on the easiest setting on my lv 50 bs/wp scrapper; didn't have much trouble with it. Overall I enjoyed it; the story really started coming together in a pretty cool way around the third mission (though the story was surprisingly dark o_0 ) The enemy group was perhaps the sneakiest I've come across (I like how you can't tell for sure what each mob will do until you've attacked them, I also like how they have diverse attacks). My one criticism is that I didn't find the first two missions very interesting; to be fair it was partly because the story hadn't picked up yet, but perhaps some NPC dialogue or patrols would have livened those missions up.
On a side note, I hope you weren't trying to subliminally influence junkies with those navigation titles (I.E. "Find D.B." ) I kid, I kid!

thank you for the testing of my arc. i needed an outsider to give me feedback. i know it is pretty dark and open ended, no neat conclusion to it all. but that is life, and i like it that way... believe it or not, this is loosely based on a true story, i used to live with a paranoid schizophrenic and you certainly learn the fluidity of reality in such a situation. yes i know it is a bit slow to start, especially since you can pretty much stealth the first two mission. but i wanted to tell a story and could not think of a good way to jump right into the action. but i am pretty happy with it over all. the first EB is subject to change, i am still looking for the right mix. unfortunately since it is all custom groups i was running at 99.9 percent memory. i tried putting a little background for a boss and hit memory cap. so no extra patrols and such stuff. not much more i can do now without major tweaking.

but thanks for taking the time. anyone else is welcome to give it a run and give me more feedback. i may run yours shortly.

BTW what is the etiquette on this forum? run an arc, review and plug yourself again?

nice job. i just finished your arc. nice and smooth. i ran it solo with a lvl 39 fire/kin troller. i had two deaths. the first in the first in the first encounter with a lawyer patrol. i can see what you were talking about with your combat balance, especially in those. i would be interesting to see what would happen with a large team. the second death happened with one of your final bosses because i got too close and he nuked me. otherwise it was a smotth ride, good story and fast paced action. i liked the mixture of bad guys too.

in the mission where you had to find the lost scroll i hit it the second one. but the other books were so humorous that i went thorugh and hit them all. got a badge for it too. the rescues were humorous too, i would have done them without the requirement. and you orkish sounds a bit french.

i only saw one typo. the boss patrol, something about being on the stick.

that is all that i can think of right now. i enjoyed the arc. it was well done.

    now mine...

Arc Name: "Welcome to Donut World!"

    Arc ID: 15205

Faction: nuetral for test/hero for live

    Creator Global:Ridiculous Girl

Difficulty Level:Hard (very long arc, with one elite boss and one AV) this is a difficult arc to solo, but it is possible.

Synopsis: It all starts with the bizarre tale from a homeless man about robot women infiltrating paragon city...

Estimated Time to Play: 1-2 hours

Please test this mission arc for me. i spent a lot of time writing it and it is an in-depth story arc. i need feedback on continuity, original justification and whether it works at all. i have not tested it with a large group either, so i have not seen the custom bosses spawn. anything constructive would be greatly appreciated. please be aware that there are enemies that are mean, though standard setting, but are there to create tension and paranoia not just to be mean. they are there for a reason. thank you.
