i find the best way of tanking these days is to use my head a bit more, and think of my tatics before hand, and to pick the mobs im gonna fight and not let them pick me, take in my surroundings before i enter combat, last thing u want is to engage a mob and have the boss round the corner.

ive got a lvl 50 fire/fire tank, back in the day, he was uber, i made mistakes, and did do dreck on occasion , and with the appropriate buffs, i could herd half the map in one go, and keep there attention, needless to say, i saw the error of my ways, and kicked dreck in the nuts, several times in fact.
these days, my fire tanker cant hold the aggro like he used to, and if u still think tanks can take half a map at once then ur mistaken, tanks still havea important role to play, the trick is learning to think, and be more selective in the mobs u are aggroing, ive recently started a ice/nrg tanker, and between using taunt and chilling embrace, i can hold the aggro, and like bridger said, if i go down, usually the rest of the team does aswell, and if that keeps happening in missions, then u cant not notice the pattern.
the key to tanking today is just taking that extra bit of time to look at ur surroundings, use ur head, and be more selective in the mobs u are aggroing.

im saying that there are a lot more pvpers out there,the arena wasnt very popular at first, then we had the s4 compitition, and pvp in the arena became very popular, so i be expecting somthing similar with the pvp zones following the sucess of the event yesterday

i have noticed u keep mentioning pvp zones are never that busy, did u bother to attend the big pvp event in sirens last night, they needed to make 3 sirens calls to cope with the number of players, now that would mean the zone was busy right??

and speaking of stalkers, i made the cardinal sin of standing still with my blaster, to adjust my graphic settings, next thing i know a big AS comes on my screen, followed by a big miss, so i turned round and battered the [censored] outta him with my energy meelee, u win some u lose some basically, if he had hit, i would have been boned.

think u can count quite a few paragon defenders up for patrolling, myself included

god dam toothpaste must be avenged!!!!

just to instill a bit of fear, on sunday night, a team of 8 villians dismantled about 20 heroes on there own doorstep

pwnage to the extreme i think, 8 villains beating 15-20 heroes says it all really dont it :P

Rogue Destroyers = Paragon Defenders

the destroyers just owned bout 15-20 heroes in bloody bay tonite, and we were a team of 8

i will be there xan, back with the majors killing some more heroes, the more heroes the better....more for us to kill
