  1. Latest raids have been all a matter of spamming temporary powers. We won against the echelon that way even if they put up a great resistance. When defending we spawncamped with mines, pets and so on, when attacking we did exactly what PD did to counter spawncamp. Does it work? yes it does. Is it fun? well honestly best raids were those when we were more ignorant of the "art of warfare", when it was just a matter of pvp more than of organization of when and how to spam temporary powers. Raids against Nightstalkers for example were just a big messy rumble but everyone at the end could be proud of their kills. Raids are still horribly bugged (external buffers come to mind as well as near indestructible anchors, pylons penalizing bigger bases, fixed spawnpoints and so on) but at least for us they are a way to let even those players not entirely focused on pvp engage in it. Our base back then was more rational and pvp oriented. Of late we revamped with "style" in mind cause not all our players are interested in pvp and we have to listen their demands too. Furies Vs Nightstalkers had it even worst, when we used to raid eachother we would play with terrain at our advantage creating "killing fields" zones so cluttered with objects you cant really move through without teleport but that still permits to AoE to death the enemy. In the end its just a matter of "i want to win" and not anymore i want to have fun playing. Since in this game ultimately theres nothing to win maybe we shall all try to get down to make it fun for everyone but thats just my 2 cents on it.
  2. Actually hyperphase was what we used too to win most of our raids when attacking. Combination of phase + tons of pets + repulsion field + (lag...LAG...LAAAAG) proved fatal to our generators way faster than we expected, after they were down it has been just a matter of spawncamping while we returned from hospital (cause attackers spawn in their base) and to place pylons takes no longer than couple mins. Well played PD, first one we ever lost so fast!! Lookin forward to the match against Furies now....and i accept sarcasm when it comes from good players
  3. Well im happy you kicked their [censored] so badly, this is making every single one of them redouble efforts at team play (which suits my needs since they are in my sg villain side). Taught them not to just take every victory for granted just cause so far they are doing well in base raids and in pvp zones. All honor to the victorious! (and lookin forward to a match against furies someday )
  4. I just wanted to express my thanks to Nightstalkers SG for tonight fun at the raid. I was not present when they attacked Posse's base but my mates told me they had an hard time resisting Nightstalkers onslaugh (ok ok im jk i know NS lost badly but thats only cause my mates spawncamped; 138-6 for Posse i believe was the result of the killboard which shows it wasnt even pvp but just a mindless massacre).

I was there when we raided Nightstalkers base and that was quite more fun, they played fair, we had some good pvp (and some bad disconnections but thats another issue), i was one of the stone tankers striving to move about in granite with like 3 full sets of MM pets aggroed, 2 rows of debuffs and god only knows how many hold effects on me. Having so many peoples around to taunt made me feel useful even if that is what all i was really doing. The odds were balanced, Posse lost but we got really near to a victory (4 out of 5 pylons placed with one destroyed just when i was finishing placing the last one at 5 minutes from the raid end). I look forward to a rematch when base raids will become operative and you will have your own IOP!

Oh and since im at it and im in charge sorry for the bad experience you had raiding Italian Furies base, we had just some misunderstanding and well mmmh yeah maybe we are more villanous than even peoples in IF are ready to admit. When we can have a gankfest we do, but its part of us being in character. We killed you all like fishermen kill swordfishes here in italy, cage in a small place and slaughter...but at least we didnt spawncamp like posse did. One day maybe i can show you the rest of our base since all you got to see was like a corridor

I've not been or seen it.
    Is that spawn camping players?

We were allowing them to spawn and we were at ill odds with number (3 against about 10 villains) but yes basically spawn camping and insta kill is possible as the base is now designed. All i did was teleport in past the drones to the safe area on the side of the hospital and then tp in other heroes. This should not be possible or villains will never have a chance cause if i were to be "evil" i could just tp foe in my hurricane against a corner while untoggled in the hospital and let some of my mates handle the kill. I dont want to see hospital ganking, this is the kind of things that would ruin pvp.
  6. Anyone noticed that bloody bay villains base is always under siege and that its way too easy for heroes to lock villains inside? Today i was in a hero team composed of me Earth/Storm controller, a tanker fire and an empath and we pawned villains completely until we were right inside their base. Once inside they had like no way to repel our assault, we were on the sides of their respawn point where no arbiter drone could target us, other heroes joined in (ive tp friends and put it to good use) and we literally obliterated them. Knockback and repel combined with storm powers kept wave after wave of minions in check. I must admit villains were not using any team tactic but still i feel that their base defenses are underpowered. Id love to not to be able even to get near the base so they would stop just hiding inside it. Moreover playing a villain and respawning right in the middle of the fight must feel frustrating....
  7. Of course the most popular for all brutes will be /local $target I SMASH!
