I think it may help new folks if we starting listing more off the Mods that play; as there are a quite a few:

Myself, Myrm, ReD, Neuronia, Nibz, Ping, a couple more I just can't think of off the top of my head while I'm at work.



And Bud should follow this post (hint hint) with the names of the Mods on Champions United, too.

Since I already sent you a PM before you replied, I assume this is your clever way of trying to garner public support for yourself.

This seems evidenced by you choosing to use the word "threatened" in your reply. That reads like a psychological ploy to try and flip the script of public perception in your favor, due to the negative connotations of that word.

So let me clarify my reply: If you follow the BMT channel rules you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

However, if you continue to feel the need to make snarky public comments to me in BMT (like commenting on how I say goodnight to Horus, or when I purposefully spelled words incorrectly in a sentence, and so on).......then you will be removed.

I let your comments go because, again, I prefer to take the high road.

So I guess my "threat" would be stated like this: Follow the same rules everyone else in the channel has to follow or you'll be removed. Just like anyone else would be.

This will be my last public reply on this topic. I am happy to discuss this further via PM if you'd like to talk this out. As I've said twice now, I have no issue with you other than what seems to be your need to make negative comments at other people's expense.

But I'm all done with this now. Try as best you can to flip the script again on your next reply, but I have five years of positive community service here and I don't think you'll get too far going that route.

That's the benefit of treating others with respect; most people return the favor.

That being said:

Rather than a long back-and-forth about who's "correct"; why not just agree to disagree and move on since it's already been changed and the issue has resolved itself.

Besides, there is no *correct* answer; only opinions. And conversations of an opinionated nature that also involve somebody's feelings almost always devolve into unproductive states.

Dinah should no longer be offended. Angie never meant any offense in the first place. Ta-Da! Problem solved.

That was my whole point in replying at all.

I keep thinking: "Geez; how many current threads do we have running that have deteriorated into this childish back-and-forth?"

I wouldn't want to join either channel if I was a new player, based on the replies.

And For The Record: I have never uttered a single negative word about Bud or Elf in the 5 years I have been here (minus the inference in my last post) and I still feel both channels are perfectly reasonable to use.

It's not about cliques; it's about community.
