Quote:As Jet_Boy said, try getting on at different times. There's usually some people on in RV in the later afternoon/evening, often til the early hours. It's not nearly as busy/busy consistently as Freedom is--let's be clear about this--but there's often enough for some fun pvp. This, of course is an *opinion.* 8D
Although I don't PvP, I do badge-hunt which requires me to enter Virtue's PvP areas, and there always seems to be some form of activity in the zones... not full to the brim, but enough to be obvious.
I would hop on at different times and poll the zone. I'm sure you'll find that there are still opponents for you. -
Quote:I very much agree with this. I have been doing some PVP on Freedom for the past few months, but still prefer PVP'ing on Virtue. Yes, Freedom PVP is refreshingly busy most of the time. But I find zone PVP on Virtue to be much more fun: the fights often last more than mere seconds, the teaming is more enjoyable, and the occasional RP element adds a light-hearted quality to the whole experience.I PVP on Freedom all the time and I don't think any activity on Virtue would jeapordise the PVP community there. I know several PVPers from Freedom who have already expressed interest in rolling alts here on Virtue. If anything casual-friendly events would help introduce players into PVP, increase PVP population, and help COH's PVP cmmunity ikn the long run.
I had the luck last week to team with a friend of mine and his friends in RV--they do some RP, but very little PVP. They died often, despite my efforts to keep them alive (I'm not so good on my therm), but they did surprisingly well for the little experience they had, and got in quite a few kills. And even though it was more hectic than usual trying to buff/support/attack, I was all the time thoroughly enjoying myself--laughing often--and they enjoyed themselves as well.
Anyways.... the more PVP, the better. Check out Freedom PVP, but get the best of both worlds/servers, and PVP here as well. (And if you're concerned with the quality of PVP... some of the better PVP'ers on Freedom atm are Virtuites that have moved over, but have kept some of their toons here.)

I run into Rp'ers in pocket D whenever I'm there, not really sure about where else they might congregate. There are some threads in this forum about where you can find RP on Virtue, and some good advice about getting involved with them. Same goes for events--many are posted here.
I've often teamed with RP'ers, and although I don't RP myself, I find it can be fun sometimes to go along with them, ham it up a little. It definitely adds some variety to a mission. That being said, I've never felt akward at all around RP'ers, even if I'm the only one on the team *not* RP'ing. And RP'ers are a fraction of the overall server's population, so you might go for a while without running into many.
As regards getting on teams for lower levels, I rarely have trouble finding teams at any level, and often find myself having to politely decline invites if I want to solo.
Welcome to Virtue, I think you'll enjoy it. -
Thanks for your answer--and for having made the guide to begin with!
I mainly wanted to know about using grant invis. more for PvP purposes than for PvE--mainly to be able to set up for an attack. Tired of being the easy target in PvP, and with some trial and error, I hope to come up with some strategies that will work for me (and the sing.) there.
Really looking forward to the change playing with the singularity in pve and pvp both. Should be fun.....(and thanks again). -
Just saw this guide and have a quick question. Can you use grant invisibility on your singularity?
Will be getting sing in a couple of levels....can't wait for it! I'm just considering options for getting around with it in pvp.....thanks.....
