  1. So my girlfriend's laptop is running Windows 7, she recently reformatted and installed CoH. Since then it always hard crashes without any warning (full power shutoff instantly) only when playing CoH and only when the power cord is plugged in. Anyone know what might be done to fix this?

  2. Ethereal wings. I don't know how it'd look, but something kind of see through that leaves a trail.
  3. Auras:

With the new trailing aura capabilities from steampunk I'd like to see it expanded to match lots of themes (firey footsteps that burn and smoke out, plants/flower that sprout behind you, icicles that sprout from the ground, etc.)

And the maybe not feasible trailing one would be to have 3 to 5 teeny little arachnos spiderbots (or other already in game pet type things) that follow you around.

soap bubbles that float up and pop

a large bubble around the head (this could be faked into a space helmet type thing since that's not currently available)

    a flicking reptile tongue

That's all I can think of right now.
  4. You could save each one and then delete them after they're up for a week, leaving a decent enough window of time for everyone to view the less important ones.
  5. I asked early on if other backpacks were being developed

David quickly pointed to one of the early questions and Zwill said he couldn't say anything. The only other questions asked wouldn't be NDA types as far as I could tell. Make of that what you will.
  6. Can you guys archive these impromptu Ustreams? I'd like to watch them even if nothing exciting happens.
  7. I play a spine/dark armor scrapper. The majority of my survival comes from my stun/fear aoe toggles. I used to pvp a lot in zones pre-I13 and did fairly decent. As soon as the non-resistable toggle dropping came about I couldn't survive against anyone in pvp. I haven't pvp'd in zones since with a few exceptions. I did not enjoy those exceptions.
  8. Scroll down in the create window. There's more than one recipe for it.
  9. You played a Task Force that pretty much requires a tank for the final encounter.

The tank quit before the final encounter, and you cannot survive.

    The devs are to blame...

You logical train has flown off the tracks somewhere.

  12. An alternate laptop I use keeps freezing up only when I launch CoH. It happens during the patching. I tried deleting the checksum and it froze again 80% into checksumming. I don't know what would be the cause of this. Any help?
  13. I'm pretty sure you can earn them all but only have one active at a time.
  14. I know for Going Rogue when I was adding it to my 2nd account I tried about 20 times through the store with no luck, and then when logging in i tried it at the in game store and it went fine. Can you guys add these to the in game store, since that store seems much more reliable?
  15. Still getting the "unable to accept order" message.
  16. I am in on my Spines/Dark Scrapper, Cross Dresser, lvl 50 and super mega slotted.

  17. The rotating clockwork key on their backs! Just make it non-combinable with capes, because moving parts and free flowing fabric = no-no
  18. I tell ya Mike, Praetoria is great, but it won't be perfect until we figure out a way to harvest flour without it trying to strangle us. These artificial donuts suck.

  20. Welcome! What does publishing mean? What do you do so I can harass you to bring whatever improvements I deem fit that you might be able to manage?
  21. After waiting patiently for months for ultra mode, the Paladin was pissed that he couldn't get reflective metal due to "rust issues."

  22. Due to an unusually warm winter in Paragon City, the Winter Lord uprising was confined to the highest mountain peaks this year.

Despite BABs's insistence and unique pet character model, War Witch refused to allow cardboard control as a powerset.
  24. Also, I loved the in game billboards. I don't feel that having ads for real life stuff breaks the immersion because this game is set in the real world, just not ours. Why wouldn't there be sneaker ads or food ads in Paragon City? All I ask is that there be a large number of them so that there is variety. I remember when the nike shoe was in there it was on every other billboard. At that point it seemed a bit overdone, but if each billboard on your run to the next mission is different, it won't be annoying.

also, many billboards in the rogue isles are tarnished to fit the environment, so an overlay of tarnish should be kept on those on top of any ads used there.

I like in game advertising too but on billboards and incorporated in game. It's
awesome cause it actually puts things in reality while getting funds for the game.

    *Sigh* I hate talking seriously.
This might've already been discussed but I'm too lazy to check. Google has a new commercial setup where you can spend very little and target specific television shows.

you should look into it. I would recommend playing ads on cartoon network or adult swim or other kid and nerd-centric networks.
