Its not that CO will never get the Foundry, its just that it would have some difficulties and isnt right now in the plans, im pretty sure however, that some time after Neverwinter is released CO will get the Foundry, after all, STO is just testing it for the Neverwinter Team, and the full foundry will release with Neverwinter, not STO

Quote:The costume creation limitation only lasts until level 10, they added it for "streamlining", and while the silver players got limited archetypes, they can buy gold archetype or freeform slots (the both of them are free to gold players/subscribers.
Just as before, I found elements of the costume creator I like. It seemed way more limited than I remember though, and I got a little frustrated that the number of options for appearance was so limited at the initial screen.
Also the initial power selections are horribly tight... An ice tank or a beast tank, ranged fire/bow/gun, and a couple of others. So incredibly limited. First impressions are huge, why would they cut off the initial creator like that? It seems counter productive.

Actually, all the shield are different mechanically in some way, for example, the fire shield grants a DoT to enemies that attack you, or some shield have better resistance against specific damage types, etc.

The thing about enemies refilling when you die, that's because there are no penalties at all for dying, only bonuses for staying alive, so if the enemies didn't refill then any player would be able to solo any mission in game, including lairs or group mission, just zerging them until the enemies are all defeated

Quote:1:Free members get 2 slots, and Gold member 8 slots... Ok, I admit, its starting to sound better. Especially the switching between builds every 10 seconds, that sounds really fun.
Few questions:
How many character slots do you have free, and how many character slots do you have Gold?
Can you switch costumes?
Aaaand... how many summons can I work into my build without being useless?
2:Yes, you can have many costume slots and switch them quickly anywhere
3: About as many as you want, pet builds exist and can be quite poweful if built right, there is a specialization tree focusing on pets, and you can be useful in a team with them -
You can only have 1 slotted passive, they give strong bonuses (damage, healing, resistance, etc) and sometimes specific mechanics, they are part of the essencial a build needs, so they are pretty important
