yup, its that time again...an update at www.staggeringstories.net has appeared, mysteriously...be so very afraid...

Ok, new podcast - number 3! - and this time, well, theres a few facts and figures about what people look for on the website, (which frankly has bewildered us), and a review sort of thingy about the MMO City Of Heroes (and City Of Villains).

However, the main section is devoted to memories of sci fi conventions past...Carousals, Manopticon, Space Mountain and, of course, the Fan Olympiads....

Also a new musing in which I rant about the States of Jersey and Virgin Media (as well as apologising for my voice being, basically, everywhere, LOL).

To finish, a new caption comp in our forum....

On behalf of our Mister D Bringer, here at the Freelance Peacekeeping Agency, I am authorised to congratulate...um....Mister D Bringer on hitting lvl 50. He also wishes it to be known that a certain naughty supergroup with the initials MM will also be recieving an invoice for his services.

Lord Recluse is instructed to pay by the end of the month or there'll be a repeat of that unfortunate incident in 15 years time when a certain head was taken off a certain body in a certain destroyed Paragon City - except this time it'll happen 15 years earlier and cause a bit of a temporal paradox which always gives our Miss Jones, here at the office, an upset tummy...


Let it also be known that yes, I am a sad little man that feels the need to congratulate himself.

Yes, MM do indeed have a tree.

Its called Arthur.

Mm do indeed have access to a teamspeak server, populated by a good many folks with a wide variety of MMO game experience - just don't mention SWG cos most will burst into tears and start rending their clothing and wailing - again! Took us 11 1/2 months last time to get them back in their comfort zones.

Yes, it can be confirmed that MM have several players who started out in the COH beta and haven't moved away since. Our Mr D Bringer is currently looking at ways of invoicing them for this as he feels there's a good deal of money to be made from it.

Yes, Lord Macfadyan does tend to educate and inform in an entertaining manner about said television programmes. You may enjoy the world's worst ('cept for ewan mcgreggor's) alec guinness impersonation or even that odd one which is sorta donald pleasence, sorta cross between Nyder and the Security Chief...Other voices attempted on request - you have been warned.

Our Mr D Bringer, here at the Freelance Peacekeeping Agency (contracted to MM so don't blame him - just offer him more money then they do) acknowledges that MM have a sense of humour - many of the people playing chelsea do too....

yup, it is gonna take an age to fully equipe my puppets of Doom - or something. That only really becomes a prob if your in a team...cos not everyone has the patience to wait for the MM to fiddle around with a spanner and sonic screwdriver.

Have to admit, Im rather enjoying playing MM....easy to solo - well...easier then some powersets anyway. Only thing is wobots are gonna be a curse in pvp in the arena...clank clank clank clank etc.....

ok..so....tech Mm gets upgrades for the robots....are they stackable, ie: can I apply the first upgrade to my robots then apply the second?

it has to be targeted at an enemy and youd best be in range of your team mate's corpse...so fit it for accuracy as well as anything else , lol
