The vet powers are totally worth it, so are the vet costume pieces. I would re-instate your old account if I were you.
I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the advice.

It was my understanding that at some point after I left, old unused names were wiped, and allowed to be re-used by active players. Is that not the case? If I were to access the account, and retain that name, I'd do it. I was making the assumption that the name Shillelagh was lost to me.
  3. I was convinced by a friend to return to COH. Since I couldn't get into my old account(I have no recollection of the username/password), and because I wanted to take advantage of the 14 day free trial, I am currently using the new trial account. I'm loving what I see, and how the game has evolved, and am planning on continuing the subscription.

I pre-ordered the game at release, and played for a year before retiring. I don't really have any characters of merit above 20th level or so, and I gather that I have lost any cool or interesting names that I had back at release. My only loss there is Shillelagh (I can't recall her AT) and Windrose, a grav/Storm controller(I think). I liked both of those names, but I'm guessing those are lost.

In any case, as my trial nears expiration, I'm wondering if it is worth a call to support to activate that old account, or if I should just stick with the new account. Does the old account have any intrinsic value, that I'm missing?
  4. Thanks all. I'm having a ball in game. I'll head back out with my hero and try to reach the Hollows again. Since I posted earlier, I've been playing my villain.
  5. I've got a contact that I need to reach in the hollows. I should mention that I'm doing the 14 day trial. I'm level 5, and I think that is high enough. When I reach the gate, I'm unable to walk through, and I've tried clicking on everything around there that I see. No luck so far though.

    Any helpful tips?
