    Cat show!

I have three or four, I'll try to post them tonight when I get home -- I have mine for different reasons -- mostly I wanted to join the League of Bastet SG, and also, I have a friend with an actual fascination for such characters and so created a few to run with her.
  2. Thanks, it's even better when you spell CuppaJo correctly I hope:

  4. Yayyy!

Gratz SuperMaoriFulla. Can't wait to see the completed scene.
  5. Thanks -- hope Juggy thinks so. Should be enough room for it --I did a mock-up rough in Freehand and it worked okay.
  6. Hope I'm not too late to get in on this:

    Panel 1:
Caption: (Upper Left) Meanwhile. . .
Ms. Liberty 1: (Speaking) Give it up Nadia, You’re comi—
    Ms. Liberty 2: (Impact) A A A R G H!
Naughty Nadia: Back off Ms. Lame; you can’t win..

    SFX (Nadia’s energy blast): SHOOPF!

    Panel 2:
Ms. Liberty 1: (Thought Balloon): Stupid
Miss Liberty 2: (Speaking)I don’t need to see to take you down.
Naughty Nadia: Fool. You’re already weakened from my radioactive toxins.

    SFX: (Nadia’s Radioactive Punch): SHOOOMMM

Naughty Nadia 2: In seconds, you’ll be completely helpless.

    Panel 3:
Ms. Liberty 1: (Thought Balloon): Dizzy. . .must pull out of it. . .
    Ms. Liberty 2Speaking) A few seconds is all I need to deal. . . with . . .
    Naughty Nadia: Hah!

    Panel 4:
Naughty Nadia: I have places to see and other people to do. Too bad you won’t be alive to see any of it. See you in, how you say, another life.
    Ms. Liberty: (Fading). . . y o o o o o u u u u. . .
SFX: (Radioactive fumes from Ms. Liberty’s body) fssssssssssss (as needed following the vapor trails)
  7. That is totally fine and funny!
  8. Just out of curiosity: I understand that tracing other people's art only reinforces their mistakes in your hand and mind. What about attempts to trace actual photographs via a light table in order to get a feel for proportion and line?
  9. Bear in mind, I can't draw -- but the stated leg problem aside (which to my non-artist's eye looks like a foreshortening issue gone wrong) it is a nice layout and overall fine piece of work. Can't wait to see it colored.
  10. Some of the shots are too dark for me -- but I have the gamma pushed for playing so I may have a slight problem in that area.

Other than that, I laughed, I cried, I laughed till I cried.

    Some absolute Gems:

    Capt. Target
    Steve Evilman
    Sock!
    Pants!

"morons trying to break into a park bench" which I can barely type without laughing.

Quite amusing, if a little slow.

I now realize I have a TON of crap you can practice on.

Those are very nice! I love your line work!
  12. This was pretty much my experience -- what is up with the targeting -- I'd hate to have to triple slot aim just to hit more than once every 6th time.
