    MoA wip

several different kinds of cool rolled into one--love it.
  3. Sorry about the dark--didn't look that dark on my screen--but just saw it on another and whoa is it ever too dark. I'll fix it.

    Try this one.
  4. Not a totally new direction but more of a tweak:

    Try this.

Wow! That is one sweet piece of work! GJ!

    100 in 100

These have been great. I hope you're going to extend to 150, because, frankly, it has been a cool ride so far and I expect it to continue.

    Grand idea well executed FTW.
  7. So much metal. I'm proud of you tackling that and winning by a large margin. Excellent work.
  8. 10 pops out at you--a very effective piece.
  9. Your linework is lovely--delicate and your style is quite nice overall.

I'd take you up, but I spent my last few sheckles for sometime on an Art by Alex piece. I'll start hoarding again.

I meant to mention that the prices are fantastic.
  10. My favorites so far are CyberPaladin, Turbine Thunder, Bone Dancer Bara, Radiant Angel, The Ghostly Skull, Robo--Rook, and Hellcat.

The variety itself is pretty amazing--this is a pallet I don't think I'd ever come up with on my own and all the entries put the pallet to good use.

This is just a cool idea.
  11. I think The Ghostly Skull is a better overall design, but then, I'm not generally crazy about the pirate pieces and I like Capt. Starchaser except for the hat. So, with that caveat, that's my honest opinion.
  12. All of these are just great--I love the energy and personality brought to each one.
  13. Isn't that a cloud city repair robot from Star Wars Episode 5 (The Empire Strikes Back)?

    Day 8

I'm kind of running out of cool ideas, so I'm going to start a series on dystopias to try to focus a bit more.

    Very, very cool!

Nicely done. I like that you go for a complete picture and not just a figure--it shows you have an artist's eye and that you're willing to confront complexity in order to learn more and learn faster.
  16. Here's a slide show of 5 similar but different approaches for your scrapper:

If you like you can muck through the whole director of 5 sets of images at http://s34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...hon/arachnoid/

Even if you don't like or use them, it was fun to do.

    My Entry:

    Mustang Sally

    Very unique and interesting.
    I couldn't help myself. She's a WP/SS Tank.

  18. Have you considered why he doesn't wear some type of full mask? I'm asking because it would seem to me if he wants to appear "human normal" that set of eyes won't do.

I would think he'd cover it up, but it's clearly your call and your character so, what I'm asking is, how set in stone is the no mask thing?

Doubt I'll place all that high, but... The point is the fun, right? And to experiment going outside one's sandbox to explore a whole new world of artistic opportunity! I tend to stick to dual-color schemes, so this one kind of threw me hard. Add onto that I suck at costumes in general, not to mention naming, and, well...

    We get untruth in advertisement.

Is this a one-shot contest, or can we expect more in the future? It was a lot of fun mucking around, in the costume generator and Paintshop afterwards.

Edit: I swear I can read. It's the comprehension part before coffee that gets me. <_<

This is very cool, I had to pull it into photoshop and blow it up 300%, but it is a really interesting take on the color scheme and a very unique design.
  20. Looking great, Alex. Man you're fast.

    My latest 3!

Excellent work, Juggy, excellent! My fave is NovaFire--nice overall image and the logo/name is really cool.
