I'm excited that I can create a challenge for my brute that doesnt involve archvillains with the difficulty slider.
Not super-impressed with the new SS animations although the ground pound is pretty sweet
looking forward to a new /elec brute or scrapper. Trying to decide on a primary. -
I'm looking for some bruting (or scrapping) that doesn't rely on toggles for survival. Are there any secondaries that work like this?

I was pretty upset at this at first. I've been playing on and off since launch (mostly off) and am only currently at 6 months. I will never get to 60 months.
Then I found out you could buy a jetpack for all your toons for $5 a month. Thats an awful lot less than the 60 month vets have spent and I don't have to use ANY power slots. Granted, the jet pack could look better, but for mission to mission travel it does the job nicely. Im sure the cost is upsetting to some, but it is pretty minimal considering the time i spend on the game.
Anyway, im gonna get back to the travel-power free brute i just started working on. He's a super strength/fire named volcanosaur! -
wow. That's a hell of a reward. I guess they've earned it.

City Traveler Badge: Hit the ground runningÂ… this badge unlocks access to the following Power Pools at level 6, so players can access Tier 1, 2, or 3 powers early on.

[*] Superspeed
[*] Teleport

I dont read this as "pick your travel power at level 6" i read it as: you can pick a pre-req at six and then your travel power at 8 ("early on") where otherwise you would have to wait to 14. -
I like to work off a little stress by making the sign over the fisherman-contact (the salty flagon or something?) in sharkhead spin around and around. A ball I could kick, punch or just bump around would be AMAZING.

Just to add my voice to the chorus...
I think a minor speed boost in hover would make the power tremendously more FUN without breaking it or harming flight in any way. having to drop down and sprint to catch a pve runner because hover is so slow and suppressed flight is slower is frustrating.
also, flight's speed compared to the other travel powers is a little embarassing...
