  1. Aaah I was enjoying this back and forth banter. So yes you were entertaining me.

I was really hoping you would have some sort of comeback too like "screw you cool_diarrhea"

Any who, people are asking for advice so I am sharing some of my knowledge you may not agree with it but that's up to them whether they listen or not. You don't have to get angry throw a tantrum and call people noobs or baby(sorry about that)....you baby!(I am truly sorry) ^_^

I have played a long time, tried many different builds and crunched the numbers to get the great build I have now so Im not just posting to post.
  2. I give up you win.
Two heads are better than one.
You are completely right TwoHeadedBaby or what ever.

I am the noob and you are the great master.

2010 is greater that 2004 you win.
  3. LOL
TwoHeadedBoy is always right and knows it all ignore my advice completely. He knows exactly what incarnates and inspirations you must rely on at all times and even when you have to fight a single av or eliteboss eclipse will cap your resistance. Make sure you get boxing or kick to get 11% res tough and the great treasure that is weave of 3.5 def. Who needs the shields' 22% resistance when you have 11% from tough and boxing. Well good luck with that.
  4. LOL are you angry?

Maybe I just havent tapped into my MFing Essence yet.

Well maybe youre right this is advice from the IO period sorry.

    Ill update for TwoHeadedBoy.

You need to survive get destiny.
You need to kill stuff get judgement.

    Done
  5. My advice:

Drop fighting pool, provoke and super speed.
    Get acrobatics and more shields.

Detonation and emanation are overrated, though some people swear by them.
Essence drain is okay when there is no dead bodies around you and you're dying but I hardly ever use it. At most 3 slots.

This is just a start hopefully you'll figure out the rest.

O yeah and don't sacrifice slots just to get a little more of recharge, recovery or whatever. Be smart.
  6. Leaderships, acrobatics, combat jumping, impervious and aegis
  7. There is so much wrong with that build.

Try to limit your attacks to just 3 or 4 good ones and the rest should be either a toggle, buff, support, pet or travel power.

I play human form only and to survive 53 or higher mobs you need shields for when eclipse is not on or not enough. Mez is a big problem too so I strongly recomend the leadership pool aswell as acrobatics. For every shield you have and eclipse you can slot impervious skin 7.5% mez resist.

For most powers 5 slots is enough unless you want to add and extra unique like the mentioned impervious skin.

Not going to give to much away but if you get it right you can solo 54s

Anyone else confused by this name-nazi decision to only let you change your global chat handle once, and if you typo it you're simply SOL? I went to change mine and typoed it, but since there isn't even a confirmation box or anything, well, the one rare typo I make on that handle (waklingshark instead of walkingshark, hard to even notice until you look real closely) naturally managed to pop in.

So I send a request to please fix the typo. And I get a giant FU from the customer service (once again reinforcing the odd state of affairs in this game, where the development team is accessable, informative, and generally awesome and the customer service team is a useless appendage that occasionally flails about in impotent seizures before returning to its gimpy rest state) telling me it can only be changed once.

Right, so obviously the mechanism exists to change it. So obviously it CAN be changed as many times as they want to. But arbitrarily, they've decided to make it so we can only change it the one time, and if we typo it... well, sorry, you're SOL. If global chat handles will be reset once the beta is over, this is fine. I can change it then. But if I'm stuck with this damn typoed name for the rest of my time playing CoH (which is what it looks like now) I'm more than a little annoyed. They give the example that "Much like regular server character names, it was not designed for players to be able to change their names once their first preferred selection has been made."

Too bad if you mess up your character name, you can realize it in the first few minutes and go back, delete the character, and fix the name. With this, you're just screwed.

This is on the rare times I have to say to cryptic: Bad job. Try again.

I agree completely. I participated in the "Live Beta" but the handle I wanted @Bagheera was taken by someone NOT testing Beta...so I couldn't ask them if they really wanted it...so I ended up taking @Baggy (My main is Bagheera, lazy people just type baggy). ANYWHO, the Global chat goes live, and the guy who HAD @Bagheera changed it, so it is now available. BUT, they didn't reset my name once we got out of testing. I petitioned, and got the birdy that customer service likes to flip. I really wish that they didn't have such a "Too bad ha ha" sounding form response. I HATE form letter responses.
