Its pretty rubbish atm, it has a fear effect in it also, so its only real value at present is an emergency button to make all the mobs go away.

There was mention of it getting some loving though. And to be honest, yes it was too powerful originally, however it is now next to useless.

I suspect that the good doctor was referring to me Terrible habbit when fighting CoT to get confused, course then I cant actually choose which person on screen I attack, so when "teammates" happen to stand close, they often get caught in my aoe's, or occasionally just battered through the floor. But I try and avoid doing that to my kinetic...they need wrapping up and keep safe

Have to agree with botty, I also skipped barrage, had more than enough attacks to keep a full attack chain going even when slowed a bit. I did pick up whirling hands for the pve levelling portion, but will probably respec it out if I ever decide to pick my brute up again and turn it into a pvp character.

So have to say I would skip barrage and pick something else up instead

Personally I took TF and dropped ET, simply cos of the hp loss when using it unhidden, those times like bank jobs where you have no choice but to melee some mobs, losing hp from my already pitiful hp pains me. TF may be a little slower but is safer

End of the day its about playing what you happy with, if your happier with the offender rather than the corruptor, go with it

However also as mentioned careful build can make you quite durable, hover, stealth etc.

Personally I know that AV's such as Infernal and Aurora can be soloed. Also you can quite happily kill the Ghost of scrapyard solo (something I have done several times just to stop it killing people when it decides to go spawn camp the players coming of the ferry or out of the hospital).

However it is at the end of the day a game and about fun

Dont think we would have an issue up until the AV on max diff....somewhat concerned if just the lvl of the ambushes will go up, or if the numbers will explode as well. If its the numbers then we may have an issue, so I reckon we try on middle and if all ok rerun on top diff. Think gandrol would be up for it also?

Lol also watchingmy buff bar reach from the top of the screen down to my inspiration tray was kinda funny too. That was a lot of buff/debuff......noise from the aforementioned at my end. I wanna do that boat again but with more mobs!

Yeah am with you on waiting for the acc "adjustment". Tho I supposed pve wise the fact that mind doesnt get a pet and the confuse power essentially sucks xp does make up for it to some extent in the PvE field.

lol have used it many times silly being a dom. By a little rough, I mean an autohit power that essentialy takes someone out without any chance to resist, might be a bit much. Doesnt stop me using it mind lol.

Am sure if LP isnt around you can shoot me a tell and will log flicknife, is pretty safe to say she is fairly offensive. Also safe to say she doesnt die very often at all for a squishy. Then again she is an ice/kinetic, quite capable of functioning solo or in a team.

However with a corruptor I think one of the big keys especially with kinetics, to move from being a second rate defender or blaster, to being something entirely new and dangerous in your own right is movement.

Blasters - their primary powers work at range, they can stand waaaaay back and shoot (AT generalisation so dont shoot me for that one)

Defenders - Get to stay with a team in relative safety, after all they arent making much agro generally. After all they dont really need the fulcrum shift themselves, so they can stand at the back largely and do their work.

Corruptor - well you have the ranged attacks, but to use your buff/debuff a lot of them need you to be close. With some spacial awareness and ping pong tactics you can be truely scarey.

Sure, need to get you guys up a couple of levels for it though. Lvl range for it is lvl 35-40. Tis a great strike force though!

Yes it does work in pvp

It is an autohit power, that is cone shaped that picks people up and pushes them away. Once they get far enough away power will detoggle. While it is centred on a target it is more like a cone attack, collecting any enemies near it.

Is a great power in pve, perhaps a little rough in pvp.
