hiyo! just need some clarification here in regard to vigilantes and patron power pools since the stuff i've read on paragonwiki is either unclear or contradictory on the subject of the two. my question: when vigilantes hit 35, can they go speak to arbiter rein and unlock a patron arc?

if i understand it correctly, vigilantes can't get straight-up villain content until they transition all the way over to the red side. they can do newspaper missions and strike forces but they can't get contacts of their own. but apparently, they can access patron pools? so.. does that mean the patron content is an exception here? or will my character need to be a full-on villain in order to get these powers?

hey, folks!

just wondering if any of you out there have any good badge title suggestions for archers. besides "Keen Sighted", i'm kind of coming up blank. but then, i'm kind of limiting myself to eyeballing the (heroside) exploration badge title list.

got any better ideas?

just wondering if there's some sort of firefighter/emergency response supergroup on virtue somewhere. when the ppd costume bits (and weapon skins) went live issues ago, there were various ppd "precincts" cropping up here and there. and it was cool to see such a nod to real life, everyday heroes like that appearing in the game. now, what with water blast available, it stands to reason that there may probably be some firefighter characters (possibly paired with paramedics and EMTs) running about as well, kind of like a emergency response sg (if that makes any sense).

so, does this exist? if not, should it? =]

while looking around for a queer sg, i managed to stumble upon "city of gaymers" and am currently making plans to check them out. i will, however, poke around the pride global channel as suggested. so if you see @cobie on there, be sure to say hi! heh.

thanks to the water blast powerset now being available, i've recently dug up an old water concept-based character (who had previously approximated that ability with energy blast) and rerolled him. so, of course my hero needs a supergroup to call home now.

now, is victory still the glbt server of legend it was known to be back in the day? because BEACH BEAR, water blast/thermal radiation corrupter hero that he is (well, now, anyway), would sure love to be part of a glbt sg. heck, given who he is, a somewhat bearish sg would just be rad. (see what i did there?)

as for me, i'm a somewhat casual player who prowls the mean streets of The City in the late-ish evening Eastern Time Zone hours when i do. i'm something like a 5+ year vet, so i do know my way around but i've yet to explore all the new-fangled content that the game keeps tirelessly churning out lately. concept characters are my bread and butter but surprisingly i'm actually pretty light on the rp, myself. and while i'm interested in making new pals, i'm decidedly way less interested in signing up at some other forum as an sg requirement or meeting strict demands made of membership.

i mean, i just want folks to team with. and, well, to make inappropriate jokes with. =]

so, if your sg could see a spot for him in it, hit me up here via pm or via global (@cobie) or just poke BEACH BEAR should you see him over on victory. he sure is lonely.
