Well, there wasn't as many silly responses as I thought there would be.
I am a sucker for new costumes and names myself. I have more "firsts" in my comic collection than is healthy. Thank god I quit collecting before the whole Scarlet Spider thing! I did not know about the ability to shop anywhere. That makes some sense. I am a freeb right now, so multiple chat channels, trading, gifting, tele-shopping, and sordid etc. aren't on my radar. I wish they were. Maybe someday
. It all makes more sense to me now.
Also, the clown MM is hilarious. I saw my first liger as soon as I logged on this week and thought the mods stuck it there to tease us (it was under the atlas statue just sitting there. No owner name or anything.) I also remember the first time someone blew up in the middle of the Ms. Liberty DfB crowd. Spectacular! LOL -
Ok. I'm pretty much a noob and this is most likely a question with no real answer, but I always notice at least one lvl. 50 standing on the ledge overlooking Ms. Liberty. They just stand there. No snickering at DFB chants. No witty RPing. No show of awesome, god-like power. No interaction with the goings-on around them. My question...why? Are they bored with actually playing the game? Is there an unvoiced code that states that a high level character has to be on watch at all times? Are they sending tells to friends describing the new trend in heeeedious costuming? Are they counting wolves for a Paragon City census? (which brings up more questions like 'why did they make it look like they die when their masters go away?' and 'Who cleans up all that poo?' and 'Is the hydra really only wolf scat?') I don't know, but then again I'm a noob. Maybe someone needs to RP a hardhitting investigative reporter type and find out the skinny on these things. It seems the other reporters are just talking to the same old heroes again and again...

Not a bad policy, Neko. It would have been nice to say "whoops" to the sender, though. Not to mention the team-up...

Sounds good to me. I was just a bit "oopsy" at the time and I'm usually game for a team up. Thinking back at the conversation, the sender had to have been extremely thin skinned to be offended. thanks for making me feel better about it.

I may have unintentionally replied to a tell in a way that sounded snarky. I tried to reply again to appologize, but it had been a few minutes and the sender apparently blocked me. I put a message up on the help channel appologizing and looked for the sender to no avail. Is there any other way for a freeb account holder to find a character other than a friend? I would sincerely like to appologize to this person even though, guite frankly, the reply was not bad, just short sounding.

Is there a story for Pristine, the poor hero that is always laid out in the hospital? I wondered if she was a dev's character or something. I like her costume and name.
