lol no offense taken.....that is why I came here.....I appreciate the sample builds guys and now i know kinda where to go......believe it or not I thought I sorta was slotting for recharge.....
as for stealth..I put that IO in sprint...is that not enough? -

I searched through the forums and got alot of information but each build was not precisely what I wanted.
So I created this for your critique. Please be constructive. I am not a "noob" but I am an IO "newb"
I plan to start slotting at level 27 (22 now) and also plan on exemping sometimes.
So if you think that is not a good idea and I ahould wait let me know that as well as critique the build.

hey there, thanks for the guide it was quite informative. I have a quick question regarding your leveling IO builds.
After level 17 and until level 27 when you get level 30 sets, how do you slot? Do you suggest slotting as if you were preparing for the level 27 build? And then at 27 replace all of those spots with level 30's?
If so would that not be expensive?
Or am I totally unclear ((which is possible)) as to the process.
Does my question make sense? -
Yes thank you very much for your input. I think I may start to dabble in a little bit of the sets based off of your guides maybe adjusted slightly to personal preference of course( which is what its all about).
I just hope it doesn't cost too much. I have some money saved on virtue so should be ok. Been away for a bit so going to find out tonight if you can email inf across servers. If so.....I am set. If not I may have to be a little bit tighter.
I would prefer to stay on virtue seeing as this is where my darkie is. Just seemed to have found a bit of a home here as well. No SG yet but I am hopeful.
Picking a SG can be tricky business. Anyway, I am digressing again.

Perhaps you answered it indirectly (or directly) and I was too obtuse to notice but would it be viable, at level 27, to start slotting in the sets at the level 30 range in now or would I be better off frankenslotting them until 50 and then go with sets? -

My question to you is, what do you recommend from this point on as a good levelling/frankenslotting IO build to get me to 50 to then use your final IO builds?
Or conversely, do you just recommend level 30 common IO's all the way to 50?
I know you recommend a -KB. Is this too large of a question or unfair to ask? Searching doesn't seem to bring up to much on this specific topic. I found a guide to frankenslotting ((Fulmens I think but forgive me if I am wrong and it was very well done)) but it served to confuse me more.
That may be due in part that I am a male.....I digress.

I have been kicking around Paragon off and on since close to the beginning. My most recent visit(this time aside) was about a year ago.
With the changes to defender I thought I would drag out my 26 Storm/Dark and take it for a spin maybe even to 50.
In all this time of very casual playing I have managed 1 level 50 toon(scrapper).
So...what in the hell is the point of this post you say?
Well, with emailing all my influence to my stormie I have a whopping grand total of 32 Million(lol told you I was casual)
The question now.....should I just take this toon on my path to 50 with just SO or even maybe basic IO's and then wait for the set slotting when I am 50 and hopefully have enough cash to actually do something.
Or, is there anyway I can make it work with that low sum of cash...perhaps pick and choose a few lower end sets.
I guess what I am asking is this.....when do you IO?!?!?! or perhaps to IO or not to IO, that is the question. -

A quick question for you. Disregarding the slotting of course do you feel the power choices for each level are good enough to level with or did you respec them as well? I have the cash to outfit my blaster at 50 (only 9 now) due to my 50 spine/fire scrapper.....but would you recommend changes in the power choices to get there?

Been away for a bit and came back with Vet awards. Now that you can get permanent sands of mu, would this change your power choices or lotting in any way?

Your original post gave pre respec suggestions that are quite different from this new I5 build. Would you recommend still using those old ones until respec( I am currently level 14) and then go into your new I5 build around 24/26?
