The main problem with the merging of the two sets of servers isn't just the problems with global names...
...also the data protection laws in Europe are completely different (and much more draconian in their rules) than they are in America this also somewhat limits what they can do (or so we're told). -

You assume populations are 'spread thin' on those servers. For everyone who complains that a particular server is a ghost town and "you can't find teams", there's usually two people from that server to pipe up and say otherwise.

No, not going to happen. International law reasons. Besides the 'empty' UK servers are as 'empty' as the mid-population US servers and they're not going to merge any time soon, either. -
A gay server brings a whole new meaning to PVP

There are no gays in CoX, the people playing the game might be gay but i have yet to see a gay NPC

With the EU and US forums being merged will the EU and US clients be merged so we have access to US servers?
EU servers are dead, theres about 200 people on at any one time and 90% of those are in AE -

Well, i started a new char teamed up with a great bunch of players and decided to stick with this account now.

I only playe briefly but I've always stuck to US servers based on past experiences with MMO's and EU servers.
Whats the best english speaking server to join? I haven't been playing while i've been trying to get this account issue resolved, I think it would be best for me to cut my losses now and start playing, ive lost a week of gametime already. -
NCSOFT support have passed the buck onto steam support, it only took them over a week of getting my hopes up to do it, so just waiting for steam to get back to me now.
I had a brief play and I suppose the one saving grace of loosing a high level char with the pre order bonuses is the XP farming i've heared so much about, at least that way im only loosing the pre order stuff. -
I bought COH through steam and reactivated my accout but it activated an EU account I had but i dont like playing on EU servers because alot of people don't speak english, my main character is on a US account but now it seems i have to buy the game again just to get to my main character.
NCSOFT hasn't been much help and im still waiting for steam to get back to me.
Problems like this wouldn't happen though if there weren't 2 seperate games, every other MMO has EU and US servers that are accessible by everyone
