I can not give an honest answer to that.

but there is the link, I did not see it on there but I do not know if you had to be logged in or a member. -
Quote:Buy me the game, and I'll try it out.
$60 up front for an MMO now that I've been spoiled by the F2P model without the up-front cost is a bit much. Especially with my budget changes these days.
Try the trial, and once you do you will be at the local blood plasma bank donating! -
all it dose is when you log in the chat window shows you are now logged in to the channels instead of rejoining each and every time you zone or return to the game.

Quote:I (Krovus) have no cabal formed, or am in one lol with my work I am AFK to much to feel good about being in a group. But I will try and send as many people to TSW as I can.Glad to help.
As to your other question, I just joined an RP Cabal over there lead by an ex-CoHer... damned if I can recall the name of the group. It was for Illuminati. IIRC, a dude by the name of Krovus heads up a Templar group of CoHers as well. Also, i think there is a global chat for us, but don't know how to join it.
Oh, and the Cabals are cross-server but faction specific, so... Doesn't have to be centered on Arcadia. -
Quote:There is the stepsMy wife and I bought TSW when we saw it on sale for 50% off. So far, we like it, but neither of us is very far in. It's a very loud game for two people in the same room who aren't teamed. Are there separate volume controls for combat and dialogue? I'll admit that so far, I've not explored the UI all that much...
1) menu top left corner
2) settings
3) audio options

Do not get to hung up on the pre built decks, do not reroll unless you want a new name server or faction, read the newcomer thread, general thread, and deck thread.

Quote:Ahh Ok tracking nowThe menu is fine... it's some of the other things that are odd.
You can't move around your powers unless you have the Ability Wheel open. Sometimes dialogue options will go off the screen... until you realize that moving away from the contact will shrink them! That really confused me at first. I would have never expected the Character Sheet to contain costume options... changing the gender of my character during creation necessitates I look in the upper left... which is in NO way close to any of the other customization options. Etc.
Don't get me wrong, it isn't a horrible interface, it just takes time to make sense of coming from this game. For what it's worth, I had issues making sense of the UI in SWTOR as well, and I haven't heard anyone else complain about it. -
Clothing screen
info
changing clothes is free, you just need to have the item bought, and that will cost you (90k for a hat bahhh)
there is no save an outfit
but there is a 3rd part mod to do that

1) open menu or hit c for the charter screen img 1
2) click the dressing room tab and that will open the options for yo
3) the items you click will be in preview mode until you hit wear
-
To make things a a bit easier, here are the steps for claim items
1) open the menu top right corner
2) go to the store
3) click the claim items tab
4) chose the item
-
I do not find it that bad, the menu options on the top right corner, have all the selection and the key shortcuts, I did rebind the tell reply to the back space key tho

Plan for the worst, Hope for the best, but look at new games.

Quote:a deck is a combo of 7 active and 7 passive powers. active powers require weapon or focus.I must say I've hardly touched my rifle. Mostly using Blood Magic because it fits the character theme I'm going for, but I want to get the necromancer deck (though I don't quite fully understand decks yet) and I saw that you needed some AR stuff for it
I'm still quite early on in the game, running around splatting zombies, but so far loving it. I particularly like the investigative/deductive aspect of some of the missions. Plus, luring zombies onto landmines will never get old.
The passives do not require you to draw form the active powers pool.
example, there is a fist weapon passive called lick your wounds, it is a minor heal, any ability building power triggers it, so it is nice to have. -

Quote:How do people even swing shotgun!? Hammer/Shotgun is how I started, but Shotgun does two things I couldn't handle:
- Assumes I'm in a group.
- Assumes I want to target just one person at a time.
The fact that it counts resources by the person you are currently targeting was too much for me.
Well when you use a resource skill/power (IE: pump action-shotgun or smash-hammer, there are other powers that build also but those are the first ones you get) you build up 1ea resource.
example on my current build I do 5 pump action shots, after which I then have 5 shotgun and 5 hammer built up for my next 2 chain attacks, which are haymaker and out for a kill; then i go back to my builder. So any builder will "charge a skill"

Quote:Hrmmm, sounds like a bad install, reboot the system and check it out.I can click it and change, but there is nothing there indicating I can do so. No button, no text, nothing.
It also seems like there should be a scroll bar for the clothes, but there isn't. I can click around randomly and it will sometimes give me new options, but thats it.
And most of the customization options cannot be clicked on.
The charter creator while limited was OK. most people are up set with the limited amount of charter slots me having one toon that can do it all, is just fine. -
