To be 100% honest, I fully expect him to do well vs lvl 50 and 51 bosses. Its lvl 52+ that I think he'll struggle with and even faceplant against.

But we'll see!

You can come if you like....you just can't help him on the runs.

They key here is doing it "solo" AND in a reasonable amount of time. It doesnt matter if you can solo 54 bosses if it takes you 2 hours to clear the run.

1 last question....Do I get to pick the farm mission?

I mean....I can take my ice tank and farm lvl 54 bosses who deal ice dmg all day long. That doesnt say much for my ice tank tho...

So if you're going to run a map that's been created to cater to your specific build, I won't be nearly as impressed.

Actually since this build in question is so damn cheap, I'll use my second build and try it myself. I probably have most of that crap laying around the base anyways.

Seriously, I would love nothing more than to see that Fire/Kin in action. If you tell me what server you're on, I'll roll a toon and come watch you farm solo till the cows come home.

I know when I farm bosses, I do occasionaly miss certain things even with a huge amount of global accuracy and slotted accuracy. I know for a fact that build would be missing even more than mine and unless I see it for myself, you cant convince me otherwise.

Yes, a lot of the dmg does come from hotfeet and firecages, but how does your FS hit? I'm willing to bet not very well with 1 ACC IO slotted.

And I dont believe you solo farm 8 man spawns of bosses at any level. And if you do, it probably takes you forever to drop them...which IS the reason you stick to 50s...right?



I think the reason you stick to 50s is not because of how long it takes you to kill them, but rather that's the only thing that build is able to hit on a consistant basis.

But if you do anything outside of the AE, then that's a very handy power to have at your disposal.

AE doesnt drop purples (except for Dev choice)....and that's really what a lot of farmers are after. Or so that will be the reason I leave the AE buildings.

Why make moves to nerf pl maps such as the old Tv map on villain side, or the amount of xp fam gives if they then turn around and give easier ways for people to pl in another issue.

However 90% of the people are not going to use it for that purpose, we know it, and so do they. So seems kind of weird to offer it based on what their stance has always appeared to be on pl's.

I kinda think it will have the opposite effect.

The only reason I would ever invite lowbies on my farms would be to fill the team so I could get larger mob spawns. With this new feature, theres no longer that need to PL 7 other people to attain the rewards I was after.

So in regards to MY farms...FAR less lowbies will be PLed.

Every one of those points are valid. Alot of peeps had the misconception of "nerf this" and "nerf that" to get the farmers out of AE. that was the wrong attack on the right problem. the absolutely best possible solution to "get the farmers out" is to distract them away with a new shiney, not to "nerf it all to an ineffective oblivion"

And unless you're stacking massive defense(Stone/ice Epic), I wouldnt worry about the TINY bonuses that sets like Reactive Armor offer.

You're better off slotting for +Acc, +Rech, and +Hp

This is sadly wrong.

Since AE...yes, char isnt needed as much since EVERYONE in the mob is of the same class. But go back into PI (when i16 drops, this is where all the farmers will be again) where there's 1 or 2 bosses in a group of lts. and you'll find quickly that char is a awesome tool to keep them from killing you.

Acro is also a waste if you slot -KB IOs.

2) Good farmers no longer need to fill a full team to farm. Thus lowbies looking to get PLed will get left behind. Personally, I won't be inviting anyone to join me. So that's 7 people that are not getting leveled each time I start a farm.
