I just recently completed the preatorian story arc and defeated all of the archvillains (with help) and did not recieve any badge.

Choice 3: Exemplar to an appropriate level Hero and help them get XP (and work off your debt) while you both get the badge. I know... it's just crazy enough to work.

If you actually expect players to do something that would make getting the reward MORE difficult you will be dissappointed. Players will take the path of least resistance 9 times out of 10. If it is your intent that players use RSK to obtain these rewards then I suggest you implement something that only increments the badge counters only when the enemy being defeated rewards the player with xp or influence to prevent high level heroes from 'bottom feeding' just to get their badges. -

If 1 hero takes out 12 minions, by your own math, that is 480 xp just for him. To get the same 480 xp each, your group of 8 has to kill 55 minions in the same time period. Your groups cannot kill 55 as fast as a decent soloer can kill 12.

Now the Inspirations and powers that protect oneself from stunning, etc. are very, very needed. And that's a good thing. Tackle the high level groups without preparation and a hero is in deep trouble - quickly.

This means that alpha strikes become ever more critical. If an enemy doesn't live long enough to attack you there is no need to concern yourself with what nasty status effects it might have.
