Stalkers have an easier time just stealthing and getting nukes the legit way than ganking, since scientists follow you when stealthed anyway.
Unless it's a busy time of day, then go wild. -

Why isn't there a visual badge tracker for Cold Hearted?
[/ QUOTE ]
You only get the badge Cold Hearted when you complete the mission for (I forget his name, he's a member of the Mooks who has a thing against the Council and he has orange hair, sunglasses, and likes to stand in front of the RICinema near the Arena in PO) one of the contacts you get in Port Oakes.
The mission is getting vengence on a person the contact thought of as an uncle who ended up betraying the contact's family by giving secrets to the Council. When you complete the mission, you are awarded the badge.
[/ QUOTE ]
That's Stone Cold. Coldhearted is a badge awarded for killing 250 CoT cold demons - Hordelings or Hellfrosts. -
You get sick of it after someone asks the same damn question for about the tenth time.
-
Well, there's a big 'HELP' section under your in-game menu. That's about as close as an online manual as you're about to get.
-
Or, god forbid, have people read the arena help file.
It's on the battle terminals and your in-game menu, for crying out loud. -
I have no clue, but seeing most people have it, I'd say it's probably for killing blood widows or night widows.
-
Well, yeah. But hide stacks with pretty much every other stealth power out there, I think - or does it? I'm not really sure myself. Doh.
-
Oh, Red Caps have dual daggers? Didn't know that. I haven't been on CoH for quiiite a while.
And IMO, they're probably going to toy around with Cloak of Fear and Oppressive Gloom too. Those don't seem very....stalker-ish powers.
(edit: ugh. TRIPLE stacked stealth? Imagine the threads people are going to make on the pvp boards when this comes out.) -
Uck. Give us ONE dagger.
Dual is too cliche.
Also, if we got dual, there's a good chance they'd just reuse existing dual-wield animations. So we'd all look like Scrapyarders. -
I dunno. DA doesn't really seem like a stalker set to me - the ideal form of stalker damage mitigation is defense, not resists. Though I suppose if they're putting regen in, why not.
I don't have much experience with DM, but I can say it'd be hella cool to watch a shadow maul score criticals with every punch. -

This means I have a whole patch to waste my Shivans in battle so I can get them all over again along with a badge when that patch hits.

Hey, I'm sure you've done worse. -
Sheesh, don't bug the man. He's a busy dev.
And it's only ONE ore sample. It's not like Rocketman where you have to do ten. So, please, stop asking for datamining. I'd imagine he gets stressed out by all this.
You can get one ore sample in like, ten minutes. -

When will you make the tutorial zone badge (hero side) available to people outside of the tutorial? I was out of the tutorial zone long before badges were even put into the game and now that's one badge that I can absolutely never get.
[/ QUOTE ]
Seconded. Seems unfair to penalize players for not getting that zone's badge when they can't be expected to even know about the badge system at all.
An idea for a solution: Put higher level contamined thugs in the Terra Volta reactor areas. That way, people have to put forth some effort to get the badge (namely by doing the TV trial(s)), and it fits logically in the storyline (i.e., they're contaminated from exposure to the reactor radiation).

Oh, yeah. Villain side too! -
I think that's a bug, actually.
Hopefully they fix it soon. -

Question: When in supergroup mode, does damage taken count for both the personal damage taken badges -and- the supergroup damage taken badges, or just the supergroup versions?
It seems obvious that when -not- in SG-mode, damage taken would only count for the personal badges, but I'm confused about how it works in sg-mode, regarding both sets of badges.
[/ QUOTE ]
Both. I got Unbreakable and the 20 million damage taken badge for my SG at the same time. -
Killing hordelings. I'm not sure of the exact number.
They spawn around West and North Cap Au Diable. -

Ah... Goodie.
Alright, The gunner badge. Is it still bugged? I know, someone has comfirmed it over on pinnacle, but, they said they had done over 300 firebases to get the badge. That seems to be quite alot of firebases and would take quite a long time.
Is there, perhaps, a trick of sort involved? The badge description does kinda imply that you need to only take over 1 firebase... but 300? Bit rediculous.

I dunno, I think it only counts firebases after the patch. So he could probably have done a good portion of those 300 before.
Also, Posi:
Will there ever be the possibility in the future of reducing the amounts needed for epic badges? (damage taken, healing, and the like). I mean, it's been done for the SK badges. -
Yup, you were right.
Wolf Spider Enforcer is earned by training up to 15, for villains.
Strange that heroes don't get a gladiator like this - or do they? I forget. -
Hm. I remember somebody mentioning about how he got it when training up to 15, come to think of it.
My MM's 14. I'll go run some missions and see, I guess. -
I still have no clue what's with Wolf Spider Enforcer, though. Both my characters who had Spider Smasher before the patch got it, but my MM who got it after the patch doesn't have the gladiator. Any ideas?
-
Gangbuster, the CoV one (the one nearer the top of the list) is for 200 Marcone bosses. They spawn in St. Martial and Port Oakes.
Untouchable is for 200 non-Marcone bosses (Consiglieres or Underbosses). Best place to get these is on the Nerva docks. -
Weird. Think I should /bug Spider Smasher not giving me the wolfspider gladiator, then?
-
Oh yeah, one more thing.
My lowbie MM just earned Spider Smasher. No Wolf Spider gladiator, though. I'm thinking it's probably tied to something else that's really similar but not the same - for example, killing 300 wolf spiders. Whaddya guys think? -
Taser, I'm pretty sure it counts in PvP.
I got my first mez badge while I was idling around in Warburg with an ice 'troller friend stacking holds on me.
