Wish I would have asked the person when I was teamed w/ them but...
Saw a troller w/ fly at lvl 10, clicked on her info, she was Plant/thermal with only one power from one power pool, and this was fly (not hover)
being that I've not made a character for awhile I did not think about it, just figured "o they musta changed so you can get travel powers right away to make traveling less god awful"
later I logged off and opened up mids, Mids (yes I know it has errors in it) also now shows that you can get fly, super jump and super speed at lvl 6
Yet, at lvl 10 myself now I went to pick fly and of course can't pick it.
Anyone have any Idea how she had fly at lvl 10?
No, she was not a PB.
No, it was not a jet pack
No, it was not Hover.
No, she did not have hover or Air Superiority in her Flight pool only fly
Yes, I wish I would have asked her before she logged -
Been awhile since I started this thread, and forgot to thanks the people that answered my question. Yes it was just a question, was not ummm overly complaining about it, would be nice to see it changed, but don't see it happening.
So I'll of course 'suck it up" and continue to play the triform, if fun, its different, it has more mez protection than the god awful humanform (personal opinion on the god awful part) -
Something just does not feel right, I took a small break from my Tri-form WS to improve another character. Now that I'm back to playing my WS I've been noticing that mez attacks that are cast while transforming are stopping me from going into dwarf form, is this the way its always been?
I've had this issue on several missions, I'd pretty much rush (stealthed) into a group of baddies (set at +8) hit my eclipse and mire, then click to go into dwarf, if I'm mezed before going into dwarf, there no problem, but if I get hit w/ mez while changing then it stops the transformation. In heavly mezzing groups this interuption can force me to sit there unable to complete a transformation until I end up faceplanting.
I know this is not due to macro spamming, due to my macros only turning on the power, not toggle on/off, and for the most part I don't spam keys anyways.
So, is this normally and I just never noticed it much before, or did something change? -
I'm new to MM and was wondering how to keep bodyguard on while ordering your pets to focus fire on a target, currently I keep the pets in defensive mode and use a macro "petcom_all attack" so they stay in defensive mode, but once I click this I'm no longer in bodyguard so incoming attacks start to hurt
Normally this is not a problem but if I start getting focused I have no clue how to return to bodyguard while in combat...
Is it possible to order pets to focus fire and stay in bodyguard mode?
How do I return to bodyguard while in combat?
Thanks for the help -
Quote:A level 50 IO enhances more... and when you exemp/mal down, that value is lowered... meaning the 40 would be even worse at a lower level, causing the impact to be even worse the lower you go (one of my 40+ Doms has lots of lvl 20 IOs... which are fine in normal play, but absolutely unusable in Bloody Bay due to the scaling!)
True, lvl 50 IOs enchance more, but does that warrent losing the IO bonus when exemplared any lvl below the IO's lvl?
For me I slotted my lvl 50 WS w/ sets that get my recharge to 93.8% increase, my build pretty much dependants on my recharge being this high, so its a pretty big blow to my abilities whenever I do any TF thats not lvl 50 -
Why should we be punished for using lvl 50 IOs?
For examine Luck of the Gambler lvl 50, the set goes as low as lvl 25, why when I get exemplared on say....Numina TF should I lose the bonus of my lvl 50 IOs just because they are lvl 50, if they were lvl 40 bonus I'd get the bonus (but lvl 40s are much harder to get).
Why can't we receive bonus from our IO sets when we are exemplared down?
I think it would make sense that if you are using a IO that is lvl 50 (or whatever lvl it is) that you should beable to keep the bonus as long are you are exemplared above that IO's min. lvl
Example, if you have a "Luck of the Gambler: +Recharge" lvl 50, and you do a something that exemplars you down to lvl 25 you should beable to keep the +7.5% recharge.
Does this make sense?
Not really sure if this is the correct place to post this, if there is a better place to post this let me know. -
thank you two for confirming that for me

While trying to make a build that needs alot of recharge speed I was planning on slotting a total of 6 Luck of the Gambler: Recharge speed(gives 7.5% global recharge) and then was told that bonuses have a cap, but they where unsure if it is 4 or 5 identical bonuses that is the cap bonus
Would anyone beable to enlighten me if it is 4 or 5?
Thank you -
Used to know them but been gone for awhile and can't find a list of damage caps on any site.
If anyone knows the caps or know where there is a list of them can you please post.
Thanks -
