  1. Agree with all of the above really - the top 100 does change it is just getting there that takes the time.

When we formed the The Dirty Handprints we found it a struggle to start with to get the members because no one had heard of us and there are always those players who want to be in a a top 100 sg. This in turn reduces the prestige earnt and makes it longer to get into the top 100 and so on.

It took the Dirties just under 2 years to get to no1 spot and the cleans are coming up to 2 years in 4 months when they will hopefully be no2.

For us the prestige earned is used as a measure of activity which is why we set a min to earn each month per toon, after all anyone can get a toon in and log it on every other day but do nothing with it - so we use the prestige to make sure that toons are on and playing making the gaming experience better for all members.

Now that prestige is not really needed it would be nice to see the ranks measured by other things as there must be active sg's out there who are not playing in sg mode.
  2. Time for an update!

Well firstly congrats to the Clean team that managed the MoSTF badge on their second attempt and I am sure that there will be many more teams to follow.

The forum is as busy as ever with a week or so of events planned to gain one villain and one hero 250 merits.

An event running everyday - I think that it is posi tonight which still has a couple of spaces left on the second team.

But 3 events running each day of the weekend so lots going on.

The troller/blaster team is going strong and are now at level 48 so will ding to 50 in the next couple of weeks and that will then allow the other 2 superteams that are planning on starting a chance to get going.

We are also planning our christmas events with another Handprints LGTF race, some races and other great stuff being planned by our members.

Check our web in my sig and follow the link to the handprints forum for more info or just look at the events calendar that shows all the upcoming stuff
  3. Ok so I know that this must be a noob question but I am fine with converting the base salvage to brainstorms and then to salvage etc but how do I convert my invention salvage to base items?
  4. Well have tested it with a team that included a level 35 both unlk'ed and lk'ed it was a no go.

LGTF CANNOT BE DONE BY UNDER 35 anymore 45 MIN NOW
  5. Just wondering if anyone can help, have heard rumbles that they have 'fixed' the lady grey strikeforce *** that you have to have people in the 45-50 range and cannot lk level 35's. Can anyone tell me whether this is definately true please?
  6. Well as Max said there is a bit of a pre i13 lull as with all new issues, this one does seem to have hit a little harder than usual maybe but I put that down to lots of other games coming out recently - Warhammer, fallout 3, Gears of War etc.

However the Handprints are still running an event everyday and with a large active player base over the villain and the hero sg's are certainly still very much alive lol.

Check the website in my sig and have a look around you can see from the planned events calendar and from the forum there is plenty going on and use the sign up button on front page to bag yourself an invite - or call up @Von, @Spiffer, @Jacko to get an invite in game.
  7. Well isn't it interesting to see who gets mentioned on these and by whom

Thanks to Monster for the mention and I would like to add a couple myself

Firstly Black Momma and Dark Orgasmo from The Horde - when we were getting the Dirties on their feet they were tremendously helpful running us through the first LRSF some of us ever completed successfully and also helping with the swapping of base salvage (before the BM)

Also Monster Bru for getting us some great coalitions

Max ofc for just being such a figurehead and for the honesty in how he runs Evil and the integrity and courtesy he shows other SG's with regards to members swapping about etc.

Sorry that this may be a bit late!

Just wanted to say that if you are looking for a friendly bunch of people that do regular events every night then check out the Clean Hand Prints - you can see how active we are by checking our forum a link to which can be found from www.thehandprints.co.uk as well as seeing all the other info on what we are about there.

    YAY WE DID IT

MASSIVE THANKS AND GZ TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE DIRTY HAND PRINTS WHO GOT TO THE OVERALL TOP SPOT TONIGHT!

Also looking at the other Euro servers we are STILL NO 1

AND taking all the US servers we are now ranked no 22 in the WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THANKIES TO ALL THE LOYAL AND BRILLIANT MEMBERS - and while some will no doubt try to discredit this statement, we have NEVER run a SG FARM TEAM since the SG was formed in October 2006
  10. Hi there in answer to your question - yes to a certain point and with a bit of levelling in between for sure. It would also depend on which level you were to start with

we regularly run sf/tf marathon days starting with the low level ones and running them one after another one side or another in The Handprints

Also we are just drawing to an end of teeny weeny 2 weeks where we put a schedule of events together to get toons from level 10 ish on hero side and level 15 ish on villain side to go thro the SF/TF's in order alternating days - hero one day, villain the next to get toons to level 30-35 in that 2 weeks.

The main problem is that there is no real SF on villain side from level 30-35 and as such you would need to rely on the ozone sf for level 30-39 or respecs (24-33 and 34-43) but this can be tricky if you get higher levels also in the team as it can screw up the foe levels with not enough lk
    spaces.

Also as you get to the higher levels it becomes difficult to get the next required level for the next SF and some levelling is required in between as it is better to attempt the SF at say no more than 2 levels below the max level if you do not have people to lk you.

We also run the superteams which is a group of team friendly AT's meet once a week and play and this is usually mixed with mishing, SF/TF's, trials and respecs to make the nights as interesting as poss.

If you are looking for any ideas on how we planned the teeny weeny event take a look at our website, follow the link to the forum and look at planned events there is a thread there call he teeny weeny two weeks which shows the listings.

    Hope this helps!
  11. The new Website is launched just go to www.thehandprints.co.uk and check out the swanky new site.

Loads going on including Teeny Weeny fortnight all welcome but a 2 week period of events planned around the under level 35's.

see the members testimonies, the hall of fame and the guide to teaming with us another great way to check us out before signing up!

  13. We do not do mothership raids daily - tend to run 3 days of them a month, however check out the website in my sig and have a look at the planned and completed events for an idea as to how much we do, as we do run at least one event a day (sometimes 2) and you can always get a team for lady grey or ITF etc
  14. Good turnout last night and a successful raid, think there were 5 teams running under the expert eye of Handprint Enkil
  15. Well then you are in luck!

The Handprints are running Rikti Mothership raids tonight, tomorrow and 2 on Friday. Teams will be starting in the zone at approx 19.15bst - we usually get 2-3 full teams of handies but should be space for any others that wish to join.

Shout out in broadcast in the zone or contact @Enkil who is the person running.
  16. Hi there if you are looking for an active SG that runs lots of events especially strikeforces and regular team nights then The Dirty Hand Prints are extremely active.

The best thing to do is have a look at www.thehandprints.co.uk and see if you like what you see.

We are the No1 ranked villain group on union with a mature player base and as such are usually running at the limit of members and as such do ask for certain levels of activity.

If you like what you see then send me a tell in game to @Von or pop a message on the please sign me up thread and we will get you recruited.

The only area we are not strong on is PvP so if that is your thing best to contact Max for an invite to EVIL and we do not role play so if that is your thing try and find a person from the Court of the Blood Countess

Hope you find a SG that suits you as it really adds to the gaming experience in my opinion
  17. Hey all

Please see the link below to all the planned events we currently have running - this is updated regularly with an event everyday and more often than not 2 events running. The spots on these do go pretty quick and we usually end up running 2 teams for most - the calander contains a link to the thread on the forum so that you can pop your name down.

  18. Quick update to let you all know that the Cleans have moved to 4th in the overall rankings!

This means that the Handprints community are now 2nd and 4th overall in the ranks with the Dirty Handprints being no1 villain SG and the Clean Handprints 2nd hero SG.

    Yay us

We are very tight for space but if you check the web address in my sig and either post to get signed up or contact @Von, @Spiffer, @Mime Artiste or @Fire Emperor then we can always see what we can do or invite you to the global chat channel until a spot comes up.
  19. Big Gz to you all

I know that many say that to them the ranks don't matter and in the most part I do agree - however there is nothing quite like seeing the name of the SG in that top 10 list!

It brings a sense of achievement and it is someting visible that shows all the hard work that your members put in and that all the efforts from the leaders is not wasted as you have a happy, active and healthy SG.

Just as long as you stop now lol - no need to catch the handprints
  20. I will most probably be too late here but as we have only just had a couple of spots come up couldn't post before.

The Clean and Dirty Hand Prints are ranked no1 villain SG and No2 hero sg on union, we are very active with at least one event or regular team going on every day and some days more than that. The things we do range from SF's.TF's, respecs, nights to ding members to 50, PvP tourney's, hide and seek, quiz nights, GM hunt nights and so on and so on quite often having to run multiple teams cos too many turn up for one Have a look at the forum by following the link in my signature.

If you are still looking then post up on the forum or catch me in game or pm me through here.

If you have found an SG then have fun with them and the game

    Quite of
  21. cool - cya in coalition chat then

I am sure that you will have fun with them Bru keeps a happy ship and has been around the game forever!
  22. He he Bru

Well gonna throw my bit in as well now then!

I think that the handprints has a couple of spots going, you can see how active we are from our site which you can get to from the link in my sig.

We are the no1 ranked villain SG on Union and the No2 ranked hero SG on Union so lack of activity is not something that we know a lot about

It is our regular VEAT team night tonight so should be people on i will not be around tonight but you can get hold of @ Mime Artiste for an invite I think that he will be playing a toon called Silent Operative

    looking for a sg

    Hi Tunch

Welcome to the Handprints - hope that you are enjoying it so far
  24. We have lots of long standing members and a very active forum so the long standing members tend to post to here to let us know if they are gonna have probs etc in this case we do not kick.

We are a hugely active SG and as such need the maximum amount of players on at one time - if someone is looking for a home for one toon that they are gonna play 1-2 times a month then we are not the group for them and to be honest have never pretended to be.

We are always looking for ways to get the maximum amount of players on at the same time as I believe this makes for a better gaming experience for all as it makes teams and events easier to find.

With the increasing comments on the forums about people not being able to find decent PUG's I feel that it is one of the main roles of an SG to ensure that people can always find something going on that they can join in on and also for people to be able to get a team together at short notice for something they fancy doing.

The Handprints are not just there to offer a home to a toon we are there to offer productive gaming time to players.

As an example we regularly run the same tf/sf twice in a day if there are people that want to do it and have run many tf/sf races where events have been oversubscribed enough for 2 or even 3 teams.

Earning a SG prestige is an important by-product that members can give back to the SG however the hard work that leaders and so forth put into keeping an sg happy and active combined with enhancements, inspirations, recipes , salvage for empowerments, tp's, med bay's, auto docs and so forth make it a fair exchange in my opinion
  25. I on the other hand am not going to make any apologies for the way that the group is run, maybe as Mime had said you had let us know if you were going to be away and you had been kicked I would be apologising right now.

The rules changed at the beginning of May in readiness to I12 and the onslaught of new VEATs/toons. The topic of what to do to make space for these was widely discussed by all SG members on our forum the decision made based on collective opinions.

Following these descisions a bulk email was sent by myself to all persons registered onto the forum (which i believe that you are) as well as the MOTD in the global chat channel announcing that there were new rules from the start of May (I believe the new rules were posted onto the forum on April 17th)

So in short plenty of notice was given thro various mediums and tbh what is the point of having these guidelines if we are not going to stick by them?

The guidelines were there to make space for i12 and also lowering the inactive time means that for members who do commit to the SG, joining in the events that are run and so on it means that there is more likelihood of them logging on and there being more than 3 people on which also means it is easier to decide on the spur of the moment lets run a SF and getting an 8 man team. Something us handprints take great pride in being able to do.

The only part of upsetting you i am sorry about is that you felt the need to do this on the EU forum rather than speaking to someone about it - as I say the SG obviously wasn't for you.
