Converting invention salvage to base items

Use workbenches (placeable in base workshop rooms) - click on them to get lists of what can be made and the salvage options for them.
A few random notes:
* You need more advanced workbenches to make some base items
* Some base items need unlocking via SG activities before you can make them
* Once an item's been crafted at a workbench, it appears on your "Personal Items" list if you select that option in the entrance room. Even after you've crafted it, you still need enough spare prestige to be able to actually place the item in your base.

AND - if you delete the item, you'll have to re-craft it, as it doesnt go back into your 'personal items' list.

Ok so I know that this must be a noob question but I am fine with converting the base salvage to brainstorms and then to salvage etc but how do I convert my invention salvage to base items?
