I believe covupdater is not supported anymore. Try "cohupdater.eu.exe".
Also explain better what happens or doesn't happen. Does any window start or nothing at all?

Try the following:

1. Clear game registry settings:
a) Start "regedit" from Start menu > Run
b) Delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cryptic" altogether

2. Start game in command prompt
a) Start "cmd" from Start menu > Run
b) Enter "C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CohUpdater.EU.exe"

Would it make any difference to improve resistance above its cap?
More specifically I'm interested whether it would make any sense to slot Power Surge with Res while I can hit the cap without slots with my other armor toggles on.

Thanks! I hope these plus some end set bonuses could help my situation

I have a Fire/Dark brute with lots of end problems and I was wondering if there is a way to get knockback(up) protection other than Acrobatics. Any invention that I'm not aware of? I took a look but I could only see res to mezes, not kb

Also, improving max end wouldn't be better than just increasing recovery rate? That way both max end and end rec would improve by say 2%, right?
