    ouch! same type brute here but i took jab and it works wonders for fury...i think that is your problem. in fact rest of powers i have the same powers and i solo on viscious, had to tone that down when i was facing a psi elite boss but other then that been soling since 1-10 on viscious...i do use insprs for bosses but that is normal imho.

  4. Hello here is the converted info for brute primaries and secondaries(forthcoming, need to do 3 slot system).
    Please note that Fire maybe out of order will be editing that once i get into game again, CoH planner still is using wrong lineup for powers...

    DISCLAIMER:
    Some people just see this and go...."my god thats allot'a numbers.."
    and dont get any help from a chart like this so here is a short guide on how to use this info in a way that is more intuitive than number
    crunching
    BI: Brawl index most know what it is...its the multiplier on dmg based on a players brawl. Brutes are .75 brawl of scrapper btw.

    Dmg types: im using a percentage listing so .6 means 60% of BI listed dmg is of type, when deciding or comparing sets its important
    to remember that many mobs in CoH/CoV have S/L dmg resists, some rather high....

    Target-self explainitory

    Act: activation times in seconds

    DPA: damage per activation,or DPS dmg per second... this number is very important to those doing attack chain analysis, so if your
    goal is high damage, you want a high dpa or dps.

    End:endurance

    DPE: damage per endurance...for those tring to find powers that give the most dmg per endurance this is the number for you,
    the higher the better. note most powersets have very simuliar DPE..most of the time. also good number for trying
    to find out a chain of attacks you can maintain...
    some powers are way off from normal dpe costs and ussually have some side effect that counter balances them(ET self dmg, SM long act times)
    Also note that the higher DPE like fire has no nice side effects like knockback,
    so consider the power side effects with the numbers plz.

    DpCycle is a strange thing its damage per cycle, or damage divided time until next use of power, it isnt a good idea to use this number
    to compare with powers inside the same powerset (although i found this number good for making some dps chains).
    its more for comparing different sets powers at various lvls.

    Rng-range.

    Spcl: what special side effects do powers do, note if some are wrong or magnitude isnt listed post if you know the right info plz,
    espcially magnitudes those are a pain to find sometimes.

  5. well that bites. ok so if the devs dont want to datamine and give us our badges fine

    BUT

    Dont go basing new requirement/toys/prizes on those badges such as prestige AT's like khelds so on.
  6. in regards to those invincs #'s i doublechecked my own test math and i capped def at 7 minions in melee. That is i was getting hit only 1 in 20 times or every 3rd or so set of attacks from the 7. i used even level brawling melee types, operational engineers. I had -10% def UY running before it was dropped to 5% again and 6 slotted def SO+2 in my invince.

    so to break that down:
    7 even lvl melee attackers vs invince running 6 SO's = total def 45% (-10% for UY) = 55% def total
    55%/7 mobs = 7.99 =8% per

    8%/2.33=3.4% base. so yep something like 3.5 on base

    Am i missing something??

    8% x 14 = 112% def way over 50% def!
  7. i sincerly hope they look this over. ice tanks deserve a chance to be a tank equal to the other tank powersets. i was already aware of the horrendous difference between ice's overall def and invulns but i guess the devs still need some hard evidence to get them to make ice a balanced power.
  8. Question: are you going to retroactively give badges for TF's like moonfire, SS1-4 once they are added in I5? Does the code allow for this or is the information from a person completing those TF's not kept?

Halving the debt in missions means I need to spend more time dying outside of missions.

    I'd like to see missions scale to your security level clearance more. I suppose a Flashback system is the alternative to this, but if the missions scaled then the enemies inside would always be around your level so we wouldn't need level restrictions.

    ditto!! Jeez im trying hard not to outlevel my contacts and i couldnt do it for the first arc and hollows....my main toon existed pre-hollows and even now in the 40's i have to be careful about how fast i lvl, as it stands now i gotta dig up a group to do the Quaterfield TF soon or ill have to exmp to do it (yeech!). If i got one level every 5 with street sweeping or god forbid getting xp on someone elses mish, i wouldnt be able get all the arcs and title mish's!
