Oh and I did run hero stats for a good long while and monitored the drop menu. Turned it off cause it was making me depressed to see it all compiled there.

Sorry i didn't have the foresight to compile statistical evidence prior to seeing a problem. If you'd be willing to loan me a time machine I'll get right back to you with that. Actually i'll include it in the original post.
Also not sure one mish's stats which includes an av and multiple heavy duty bosses counts as a statistically significant counter to my admittedly anecdotal evidence.
Honestly I don't care at this point. I made the post because when I petitioned they said use the forums. There may or may not be an actual bug, all I know is I was getting stuff, they fixed a bug, I started getting more stuff, they patch the event, i'm not getting stuff. I assume if there is a bug more people will start to gripe now that ToT is over and people go back to regular content.
If the "knowledgable people" are right this will also cause all the supply problems to end and I won't need 10 or 15 billion to build my parked toons. Either way, problem solved, just not for a while. -
Crushing impact seems to be one of a handful of recipes that drop way too much lately when one actually does get an i/o, along with, e.g doctored wounds, t-strike, and efficacy adaptor. Those used to be nice drops but as you point out, they've tanked.
Part of this may be their commonality from bronze ticket rolls, something I've unfortunately been reduced to lately simply because I've been getting absolutely nothing from regular content. -
My source is the dramatic dropoff of recipes I've been getting, the state of the market and general chat channel griping about how drops have decreased and drops of anything useful have slowed to a trickle.
I started a thread on this in the bug section where i spell out what evidence i have. Other than the general availability of recipes which could, I suppose, be explained by increased demand from ToT pl'ing, (though one would imagine so many people ToT'ing with level 50's would have had a concomitant increase in supply since these folks would be getting level 50 recipes while they pl'd) my evidence is admittedly anecdotal and based on a small sample. If only I had foreseen this problem and ran hero stats for the couple of weeks following the drop bug fix I could produce some hard evidence. But basically I've been running 8 spawned radios with bosses for weeks (hours a day)- and I find my trips to clear inventory are fewer and farther between since the patch that increased Apocalypse frequency. Further, I've had very few decent drops. No purples when I was getting one per day and only the occasional recipe worth more than a million inf. -
There are none because the Halloween event royally screwed the drop rates. If you're not as opposed to AE as I am you can get some of them eventually by ticket rolling.
Otherwise follow the advice about leaving the bids up for days, but be prepared to pay the exhorbitant rates that a trickling supply brings to a constant demand. -
Congratulations on the Heca. Red fortune and mocking beratement are fine for one map but when those basically worthless recipes are the highlights after running 20 or so 8 spawned mishes something is wrong.
One only need look at what has happened with the market in the last couple weeks to see that it's a global problem.
Just noticed another post about the lack of numina (not the proc) recipes on the market and realized i prolly should have posted this in the recipe/market section. New to forums - this is the first thing that's bothered me enough to post on. -
So I waited patiently for the Halloween event to end, hoping that it would take with it the bug to drop rates that showed up with the patch that made the apocalypse more frequent - no such luck.
We went from the old (bugged) rate to a couple of weeks with the drop rate fixed. It was wonderful - decent recipes dropping regularly, nice ones more frequently and even purple recipes dropping more than once in a blue moon. As supplies went up, market prices went down and looked as if they might go back to what they were prior to the madness brought on by AE farming.
Then came the Halloween event, or at least the update to it, and now the drop rate has trickled to nothing. Prices have skyrocketed and even someone willing to pay the prices would be hard pressed to find anything they need for sale.
I'm tired of running missions with 8 spawns and bosses and getting 5 or 6 common salvage, a couple regular recipes and (if i'm lucky) a worthless snipe or fear recipe, or the dreaded Doctored Wounds Recharge which has dropped multiple times in the same map on multiple occasions for me.
I know this isn't just me being unlucky as everyone I've spoken to is having the same problem. I've been running radio missions at level 50 with 8 spawns and bosses. Prior to the drop rate bug fix I needed to sell recipes and salvage every 3-4 missions. After the fix, every 2-3. Now I can usually go 5 or 6 and even when my inventory is full there's nothing worth anything more than what a regular store pays for it.
I really hope this is dealt with soon. I have a lot of 50's sitting around waiting to be i/o'd and I can't work on them when one or two recipes will run me what a full character's worth would have cost before. I don't want purple recipes dropping out of the sky but frankly the game just isn't fun when you're getting no reward for your efforts whatsoever.
