I hope this isn't too pedantic, but do the unlocked villain patron powers stay with you if you respec after going hero again?
So, if you take a hero to villain side, unlock the patron powers, go back to hero side and then respec, can you still choose the villain patron powers in the respec? Are both villain and hero epic powers available to choose from in the respec?
Thanks. -
I'd like to get in on this action if there's still room.

I was on the other team with Death Sting. I hadn't run this task force before even though this is one that I've meant to do for a while. Good team, nice people; a classic Sisterhood event.

Quote:Ok, hopefully I get the quoting and linking correct.I keep hearing this but I don't get it. In order to see all my slots, I had to scroll from side to side. I PREFER the tabbed interface because it lets me see a summary of all slots plus the category with which I'm currently working.
Here's what I mean:
Looking at the old market interface, I could see 7.5 slots at once.

New market interface if I don't accidentally click on an item in a slot, I can see 4 slots at once.

New market interface if I make the mistake of clicking on an item in a slot, I can see 1 slot.

Maybe I'm using it wrong, but I clicked around quite a bit, and couldn't get the expanded slot view to collapse again. so, I was stuck with this big view.
So, yeah, it's true, I couldn't actually see -all- of my slots at once, but I could see a good third or so of them at once. Even with the 4 slot view, it's still just over half of what I used to be able to see at once. I like getting the broad overall view of seeing what's happening in my slots. -
I've been playing for years, but as you can tell I rarely post on the forums. But, I'm going to add my voice here and express my dislike of the new interface.
I literally groan now when my recipe/salvage inventory fills up and it's time to visit Wents; even though I know that I'll be making money by doing so. The new interface has too much Dr Seuss/Rube Goldberg for my tastes.
I really miss being able to see at a glance the status of all of my slots. The old horizontal display was great for that. I can see how some of the pop up messages might be useful for some people, but if we turn off those messages, I think that they should remain turned off across the account for all subsequent visits to the market.
In trying to think of something that I like about the new interface, I like the new sorting of the recipes and enhancements.
Overall though, after messing with it for a couple weeks, I'd prefer the old market interface. -
Here are some other ideas to consider as well from a "soak the rich" perspective:
* Evil Statesman in Going Rogue could sell citizenship for x-100's of millions for some cosmetic benefit, maybe access to a special lounge or inner sanctum room or something.
* Running with the idea of bulletin boards and shamelessly copying from Fable 2, maybe auction off a limited number of statue sites around the game. Require a high fee even to participate and the let the rich guys bid against each other with the highest bid winning a site for a smallish statue (maybe 1-2x life size) of the character. Of course, the city would require further fees to maintain the statue and if the fees are not paid, well then the site goes back to the auction block.
* Or go really wild, maybe auction off buildings for external access to super group bases. The plebs can use the blue portals, but the really cool (ie rich) people can also just walk in off the street of say Steel Canyon or something.
Auctions would mean that the richest people are bidding against each other and soak up more money. So, if there's more money in the system, the auction amounts increase and more money is removed from the system.
