  1. ((This is basically the same RP as Silence, but with the story taking place in Rouge Isles.))
    October 8, 2008, shortly after 8:00 PM
Harold walked the streets of Mercy Island.
None of the criminals he was prepared for with his revolver poped out.
None of the mobsters tried to interrogate him.
He was nearly glad at this fact, holding his smile back, trying not to emberass himself if anyone was stalking him, which would be likely for this area of Mercy.
Infact, it would be likely for any area of the Isles for someone to be stalking you.
He wasn't sure why not a single Arachnos agent stood around the streets of the better part of Mercy.
He didn't even have the feeling he was being watched.
    Something was up with this.

It all happened a few nights before this, when a man from Paragon barely made it on an escape boat. A queen Nyophite, a small creature of the Vuron, the demonic race of termite-like creatures followed the man on his boat. He stormed onto the Rouge Isles and hid on the shores with the used-to-be Longbow agents.
The queen colonized the walls of Fort Darwin, and quickly repopulated.
The Vuron grew and spread, spread and grew, until finally most of Mercy Island was repopulated.
Not a human knew it, nor did an alien or supernatural human.
    Until last night.
Harold was drunk, and completely unaware of the situation. Arachnos attempted to fight back, unlike the heroes of Paragon.
They, as suspected, failed even with their efforts, and these monsters conquered the island.

Now, Harold leaned on the wall of Darwin's Landing, taking a swig of his whiskey bottle.
A tiny Nyophite slipped through the cracks. He was completely unaware, still, and he continued to chug down his drink.
More and more arrived. They covered his arms, hands and feet. Now he was completely aware, smashing his whiskey bottle on the ground, flying shards of glass slaughtering a few Nyophites.
They covered him more and more, until finally he was bit to death, screaming and sprinting across the ruined path infront of Darwin's Landing.
    They were active now.
((Basically, you're a villain, please don't use the same character as you do in Silence. This is a good month ahead of Silence. Basic rules, again. No godmoding, controling, etc. Thanks, and let's get started! (Note: Nyophites are the basic stage of Vuron, as I may have stated earlier. If you need more info, click on the link in my sigg that says "Silence Wiki".))
  2. The Gravitational Master, AKA Grav, peered down the top of the Steel Canyon apartment and surveyed the empty streets.
He knew about this area, normally the Tsoo would hide in the park or the Outcasts would terrorize citizens. Now, even the villainous types were hopeful for.

He seemed worried at the least bit that not even a car roll along the street. He wasn't sure what to do, so he unlocked the hatch on the rooftop and slid into the fifth floor of the building towering over the park.

Grav used his gravitational powers to lift the door from it's place. He casually sauntered into the apartment room and sat on the dusty sofa next to the wall.

A tiny red bug scuttled on the armchair. He set his fist down and crushed it.
Three more arrived. He got up, and scratched his masked head, his eyes glued to the couch. More and more of the termite-like creatures arrived, like always. But this time, he dealt with them himself.

He lifted a large pile of the creatures with his gravity-defying power and sent them off of the balcony.
This aggrovated them, most of them forming into the second-phase body, solid and red.

"Gah!" Grav shouted, as he sprinted to the balcony and took a great, gravity-defying leap to the street. The body leaned over the balcony, then suddenly warped away and broke into the smaller termite-like creatures.
  3. ((Oh, sorry Plague, I didn't know about that detail. Ignore my last post.))
  4. Suddenly, on the middle of the conversation, the walls of each building seemed to cry out for the heroes. The small red termites hurried out of the cracks inside the walls, gradually pulling apart and expanding. They grew as the crack in the wall grew, eventually coming out by the masses.
They didn't form into the body-like state, but continued to chase after the two heroes speaking to eachother.
((They're going to be pretty hard to fight unless you have some sort of AoE-form power. Of course, you wouldn't HAVE to fight.
No, I wouldn't kill you unless you asked me to. Especially this early.))
  5. ((Good idea. I'll send a survivor your way.))
Leon staggered, his chest bleeding severely. He was nothing more than a civilian who happened to arrive after the dissapearence incident.

He knew one safe place, a higher point to lose these bodies of strange red substances. He gazed at the many ruined roads and trashed statues lying about Atlas Park. It wasn't the best place anymore, ever since the dissapearence of the rest of the town.

Leon wasn't only bleeding. He was scared, hungry, thirsty, tired, cold, sick...Leon had so many ailments he couldn't keep still nor continue moving. His legs were too painful to keep staggering on like this, but he was eager to move, almost hyperactive with adreniline.

Leon slowly turned the cold steel knob of the ancient library. He knew this was one of the highest points in all of Paragon, and he angrily stared upwards, to the top of the massive staircase. He climbed the winding staircase for what seemed like hours, no, days, however was only a slight amount more than 15 minutes. He rested on the final step, and stared down, panting.

What may have seemed like a simple interrigation could turn into a nightmare for Gust. Gust was your average hero, born into a family of mutants. Family tradition says "you're a hero at thirteen." Gust is fifteen, and he attends a strict and private high school, specialized for mutants and other natural powers. Now... onto the real story of this day.
Gust rummaged through his backpack to find his police band scanner. He switched it on and observed the data pouring through his ears:
"BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR DR. MILON, SAID TO BE CAPTURED BY AN UNKNOWN FORCE. HE HAS BEEN OBSERVED LAST IN WAREHOUSE 112.". Gust knew this was his call of duty, and he galloped down the sidewalk.

Nobody was taking a walk on the sidewalk.
No cars cruised along the dusty roads of Paragon.
Not even Skulls mugged passing-by pedestrians or Vazhilok interrogating civilians.
The whole area of King's Row was completely empty excluding him.
    Total silence.

His eyes wandered about the streets. He looked for strange signs... anything that could possibly be a clue to open the idea of this silence.
He sprinted down the gringy sidewalks and swung open the rusty warehouse door.
Yet still, at the doorway, nothing. Nothing but silence.
He lifted the first garage door. He recognized a dozen termite-looking creatures crawling on the wall.
    Then came a dozen more.
    And another...
    And another...
Until finally the wall was full of strange red termites, quickly lunguing towards him. They formed into a humanoid-shape, and suddenly shifted into a fully-solid state. It was a gigantic red body. Nothing else.
Gust stared it up and down, until finally, it moved.
It slammed Gust into the wall, more red termite-like monstrosities racing out of the white walls.
The red body choaked him on the wall, with the strange termite-like creatures crawling onto him, taking complete control of his body.
This is the aftermath of this incident.
((Okay, let's hit the basic rules: no godmoding, controling, etc.
You'll be playing as part of a search party for Gust, and the rest of the Red Giant's victims. They're all that's out there anymore, but they tend to stay inside walls. If you get too close to a wall, they'll probably pop out and try to kill you.
The red body-things can only be formed when you disturb an entire colony of those termites.
I'll be controling the victims you come across, along with the colonies of red creatures. Anything I forget?))

Three lightning demons approached a warehouse, in the vicnity of Kings Row. There he was. Blue Shield, suspicious of these actions, headed in for a closer look.
The lightning demons pushed through into the warehouse. Blue Shield, curious, investigated. As soon as he came into the vicinity of the beings, they unleashed a massive assault onto Blue Shield. Frantic, he attempted to fight back. The assault was clearly too heavy. Quickly, he escaped the warehouse and brought up his transmitter.
"This is Blue Shield. I am requesting assistance at the warehouse in King's Row marked 257." he broadcasted among the police radio.
"This is Police Chief Krammer of the Paragon City Police Department, we'll dispatch in a S.W.A.T. squad to take deal of the problem."
    Blue Shield sighed.
    "Excellent... end transmission..."
He clicked off the radio and stalled at that position.
  8. August 19, 2007 "Don't worry, the job won't be too rough, Jack."
Those were the first words I heard before I went to Mercy Island.
Anyway, my name is Jack Freelong, and i'm a member of Freedom Phanlax.
I'm a sergeant, and I command two guardian members, Ron and Ethan. They're not bad members at all.
Okay, now on to the big picture.
I joined Freedom Phanlax a little less than 3 years ago, after quitting my office job. I thought I needed to DO something with my life. So I applied for Freedom Phanlax, took the physical exam, and just, well, you know, joined.
  9. You should make a Devouring Earth dedicated zone, a hazard zone and have a forest kind of like the one in Perez Park, but with a underground route into a tunnel at the beggining of the forest, with a bunch of Vazhilok and Banished Pantheon thrown into the tunnels. At the very end of the tunnels there's a room that holds a giant living tree such as the one in Villian respec missions. I think I made too many faults with old stuff there but hey, it's an idea.
  10. July 4, 2007
The fireworks in Paragon are absolutely beutiful tonight. I thought I should buy this diary on a special occasion, so I did.
Fireworks are everywhere. I've got a day shift. So i'm out in an open field in Atlas Park, watching the multicolored explosions crackle in the starry night sky. It looks as if the War Walls aren't even there. I can see things from even a mile away. I'm going to sit down here for hours, just watching the fireworks go off. There's nothing left to say, so i'll just set this diary aside and relax.
    July 5th, 2007
I had a good breakfast and am heading for the office in the transportation.
"What are you writing, dude?" my co-worker sitting next to me asked.
"Oh, i've setup a diary. I don't care if i'm not a girl, there's nothing wrong with keeping a record of my thoughts." I responded.
"Oh, alright then." he said and then returned to his newspaper.
    That Afternoon
I'm driving two outcast culprits that me and a co-worker caught to the Zigg. It's always a bumpy road around here so we just use a normal car so we don't get detected by any of those criminals out there. We just dropped them off by the Zigg and the police took them in.
But then something went wrong. Horribly wrong. I saw one of the policemen cry in pain. He was bleeding.
    There was a man.
Standing there, in an orange jumpsuit holding a revolver.
I leaped out of the van and pulled out my revolver. I fired at that prisoner, however missed.
The other policeman shoved the outcasts to the ground and beated down the prisoner with his beat stick. I rushed in and confiscated the revolver while my co-worker went ahead and treated the injured policeman. We took the culprits into the Ziggursky prison including the prisoner.

    World War Heroes

World War Two began with heroes and villains, Allies and Axis. It wasn't just the kind with the gun and kevlar. It was also the supernatural hero. Heroes commonly aided the War effort. Take this, for example.
    Normandy, 1940
"Enemies, up front!" a soldier nervously shouted from the back of the millitary jeep.
The Axis soldiers threw a grenade straight at the jeep. The jeep halted to a stop.
A man with a flowing blue cape, leather clothing and a dusty brown mask appeared, throwing and catching the grenade in his hand. He blasted energy with one hand and threw the grenade with the other. It knocked down one of the Axis and sent the others retreating in fear. The soldiers began cheering as the hero flew away.
((Basically, you enter in there. We're in a beach landscape surrounded by Axis soldiers. Just take yourself as a hero or villain. ONLY VILLAINS CAN BE LONE. Villains can also work with Axis, however. You can also just be one of the two sides of soldiers. Good luck, have fun! NO GODMODING!))
  12. Scorch woke up, hearing a yell. "He's alright, his eyes are opening up!" Scorch raised his head. "What happened?"
"You wiped out cold in the Miasma battle, Scorch." He knew that was the voice of Agent F-113.
((Starting to enjoy the RP more.))
  13. Longbow continued to fight the Miasma throught the night. They managed to win the battle, but Scorch was in pain. He couldn't fight. His body was nearly completly totalted. He was surely KOed, but the longbow agent still had a way of knowing he was alive from his beating heart.

((This is kind of a different RP from most of the others, try it out.
Rules: No name copy, no character hijack, no godmoding, and don't just kill someone without asking.))
There was once a man named Kamos. Kamos dreamed of immortality, he was a cruel old man that most of his neighbors hated. Kamos was annoyed by the loud sounds his neighbors always made. He was annoyed by the smoke from their cigarettes rising to his garage. But most of all, he was annoyed of how weak he was. So he left the apartment to move to Kings Row...
He found a group of Circle of Thorns, simply wandering a junkyard. "Look, a patient!" an archer yelled. "Wait, wait. I need your help." Kamos replied. "Listen to the human for a second. He may be important." the leader said. "Alright... I need you to make me immortal to stop my annoying neighbors!" Kamos begged them over and over, finally the thorns came to an agreement. "This will give you severe pain, but it will make you immortal." A cast of green light flashed over Kamos, as he rose into the air. "What... what's happening!" Kamos shouted and wailed in pain. Something had gone wrong, even though the Circle was simply tainting him. Six demons of six different elements appeared where Kamos was before.
"Who.... who're you!" an archer screeched. "We are the Six Demons of Esten... And we have come to destroy this world!" the behemoth-like flaming demon beckoned. They slaughtered the group of the Circle easily and spread to attack several locations in Paragon. The six demons, Kurtal of Fire, Lumostan of Water, Shival of Ice, Groldon of Earth, Sho'lar of Lightning, and Hortus of Darkness. These were the demons that would destroy the world, and the heroes must slay them...
((Play as a hero or play as a villain, you will approach each of the Six to fight, while they each spawn their own element's minion. Of course there are always the normal old thugs n' all, but the big threats are the Six. There are also two bases, The Red Throne, a villain base, and The Blue Staff, a hero base. Those areas are anti-Six. I will control the Six, the minions, (Which you don't have to ask me to kill unless I state I need those to fight out)) and possibly a hero/villain. Good luck everyone, have fun RPing! Note: Don't post anything about grammar, anything off-topic will be ignored.))
  15. At the front line of Dark Astoria, several Longbow agents gathered, their guns at aim. Very soon a fight broke out, gunshots everywhere and bodies of Longbow on the ground. They sure aren't doing well... I have to go. Scorch thought.
"Where are you going?" an agent asked.
    "To the fight!"
    "Wait a-"
Soon Scorch arrived at the fight, with sparks of flame encircling his body. He threw a fireball at a group of Miasma, angering them to face him alone, but it wasn't as much use as he hoped. He hurled two minor fireballs at the smaller ones, one in each hand, which had about enough to make them flee. The larger one charged in anger, as Scorch gathered his flames into a sword. He swiped at the incoming Miasma and they engaged a fight with shadow and flame. Eventually, Scorch managed to defeat that piece, although smaller pieces overtook him and shocked his body to weakness. "SCORCH!" Agent F-113 shouted. "Pick up Scorch's body ASAP!" So two agents immediately rushed Scorch's body to the base as the fight raged on.
  16. ((Hopefully not. Now, we going to continue the RP or what?))
Miasma was sent on a daily attack to the Longbow bases in Dark Astoria. Scorch of Destiny was one of the leftover heroes protecting the base in Dark Astoria. "It's all over, we have no hope. Longbow and the leftovers can't take Miasma alone." Scorch said to a longbow agent. "You're probably right, but let's think on the brighter side of things." the agent responded. "If we are to defeat Miasma, the world will be even safer, because a lot of the villains we have fought in the past have been wiped out by Miasma." Scorch responded to that with a simple groan. He soon walked towards the executive's desk and sat down in the chair, doing his work posted on paper. Scorch had a black fedora with a golden trim, with a simple black leather jacket, a dark blue T-shirt, a common blue pair of cargo pants, and a white mask covering his mouth. "Hey, Agent F-113, can you come here?" Scorch shouted. "Yes. What do you need?" the agent replied.
"We're being raided. See to it that the guards are ready."
    "How can you tell?"
"I'm looking at the cameras at the entrance."
"Alright. I'll prepare the men and send them to the front line."
"Don't forget to ready the turrets."
    "I'm on it."
So the agent walked off to ready the defenses. Scorch continued monitoring the cameras.
  17. ((Dark Astoria and Croatoa have a few leftover hero bases. Only places that are a haven, however miasma still frequently raid the bases.))
  18. ((We are all on a dusty outskirt area, there are still a few camps and buildings around, thats why the bubble gets larger and larger where we see it. And your answer to that question, Dradan, is yes. By the way, the outskirts are pretty much a desert, due to the attack of massive Miasma.))
  19. Miasma attacked a small group of heroes that were leftover. Synothison watched in horror, and attempted to help. His weak, blunt sword was no use. The group fell quickly. Soon, the Miasma gathered together into a large cluster of one. It shocked Synothison at touch. Soon, he collapsed to the dusty ground. The bubble of miasma was getting taller, larger. "Without the hospital, heroes die, not take injuries.." Synothison said. He pushed himself up, in massive pain, as the miasma floated back into the bubble. Synothison searched for refuge.
  20. ((Uhhhm, alright, I'm settling this little "Hijack" problem. It's rude, and Atlas Park is pretty much covered with ruin. Most of the game won't take place in Paragon, there are very few places in Paragon left. Dark Astoria is pretty much a haven to heroes leftover, but you really have to fight to get there. But the point is, hijacking is against the rules. I believe I stated it earlier. So stop hijacking characters, and lets settle this problem. By the way, I am glad the RP is going along well, I thought I would have no hope.))
  21. A Shadow From the Past
"Quiet, kid. It isn't a matter to you. I simply saved your life, but Paragon is still in peril. It isn't all done. I am not the greatest hero alive. This is a pointless waste of my time." Jherico replied. "Why are you so enraged?" Vincent quietly said. "Like I said, Paragon is in peril and-" "And what? You are going to leave us to die in the sewers?"
    "Well... let me explain."
    Thirteen years ago...
    "Dad, come on!"
    "Dad, where are you?"
    "Dad!"
    "Moom, I can't find dad!"
He then opened a door. "Mom, Dad isn't out-" Jherico then stared in horror. His parent's bloody body's lie lifeless on the floor. He quickly turned around and scurried out of the room. He ran to the streets. Finding a little pocket knife in his... well, pocket, he was assured to protect himself. He ran to the nearest police station and told the police of the tragedy. The police inspected it. It wasn't done by a person, they knew. Jherico was then moved to an orphanage. As soon as he was old enough, he took up arms to find what killed his parents...
    Present day...
    "I'm sorry to hear-"
Suddenly, footsteps were heard running off. Vincent then sighed.
Continue to fight for the next episode-
    Dark Rituals
  22. Synothison then heard an unusual thunder clap, one that did not sound familiar at all. He scurried out of the tent. There it was. A giant minion of Miasma. He took one blade from his sheath, and chopped at it. The swipe had no affect. The Miasma then attempted to warp into the body, shifting into the universe as a piece of matter, and then rapidly swiping at Synothison. He replied with a great swipe to its neck. The monster wailed, and then shifted back to the parallel universe to move out of matter.
Synothison still kept alert, for it could return at any time. However, he trashed his camp. Furthermore, he sprinted to search for survivors, due to the attack, he knew he would not be able to defeat the hordes of Miasma alone, especially when it took out all of Paragon, with its security and population... 70% of the population are super powered. If the Miasma could take that, it was chance less.
  23. As Hunter Rakeram exited a bank, the sound of ringing was heard all over Nerva Archipelago. Smoke cleared, and suddenly the red-masked man with a Yakuza type tatoo pattern and simple black cargo pants with motorcyclist boots flew out of the area, holding a pistol in each hand. This was Hunter Rakeram himself. His cellphone then rang, and, while flying, he awnsered it.
    "Yeah?"
    "It is Demirtri."
    "What's up, Kry?"
"I have a job for you."
    "Talk about it."
"I need you to defeat a Longbow agent by the name of Redthorn. She is a general. She has controls of plants, so be care-"
"I don't have to be careful with Longbow. I am allready #11 on the wanted list. Infact, the more I do with Longbow, the better. I want to be famous outta' being the Most Wanted on their list. All I need is the location."
"Alright... southeast of I in a dark, boarded up warehouse."
    "Any coordinates wiseguy?"
    "325.221."
"I'm on it... but hey, do you got any of those telportation devices?"
"No, you will have to wal-"
    "I don't walk, I fly. Anyway, I am goin'."
Krylov then sighed, and returned to his checkbook. Minutes later, more sirens could be heard throught the Isles.
  24. It began with The Fifth Column, and Heroes. The heroes fought back to keep The United States and other places on the globe safe of harm. There, they buillt an important landmark: Paragon City. It dedicates all heroes for their efforts against The Fifth Column and other threats. It is sometimes called The City of Heroes for this and the way it carrys the greatest heroes of all time. Suddenly, new threats built over Paragon City. Not only that, but the greatest threat of all time had taken control- Arachnos. They had established a great outpost on The Rouge Isles- A coast off of Paragon. It held a gigantic group of "Villans" known as The Destined Ones. Many other events had carried through time as well. Suddenly, a wave of darkness had appeared over Paragon. Strange beings appeared in every direction, as heroes fell to the ground. The shield of darkness was forever focused over Paragon, and without Paragon, the world will never be safe. The few remaining heroes camp on the outskirts of Paragon, attempting to return to this jewel and save Earth from total destruction.

    Ten years earlier...
"Give me that purse!" shouted the Skull on the side of the road. This was an everyday thing for Paragon. "No! Please, don't do this!" replied the woman. Suddenly, a darkened miasma such as that that destroyed Paragon came over the Skull's body. The woman cowered in fear as she watched him mutate. The skull fell over in, screaming in pain. The woman ran to the nearest Police station.

((Play as one of the remaining heroes/villans camping outside of Paragon, I shall lead as both the Miasma Scourge and a hero. Don't be a total grammar nazi, I will ignore each and every one of your commentes that have anything to do with grammar. I do not see your point, I do not lack of grammar at all. Anyway, have fun RPing!))
Synothison awakened to the sounds of thunder, he peered over and noticed it was simply the shield reacting over Paragon again. He then set the fire and had a small ration of food on his only plate. The survivors only took what they could. It would be far to dangerous for a rescue attempt, the quick movment could enlargen the shield. It wouldn't matter even if they took rescue, the shield would take the world anyway. He then sighed, and lay down by the lantern to read a novel.
  25. ((Mind if I join in? I feel rejected from every RP, so this will be a good oportunity to get off on the right foot.))
