Not what I was implying. I mean completely different from each other. Their own power builds. I mean ya we have a few "water" powers we can get from villian side. But basically what I was getting at was the fact that their like the most common elements in the world yet neither have an actual build. A useful one at least. Everyone knows that solo; storm is very impressive as far as keeping enemies at bay while u blast away. However What I was getting at was it doesnt have actual attacks. It'd be interesting to see a wind melee or water melee in the game just to add more builds to the game and make things a little more interesting. Fire is included in almost all builds you want including MM; you can have a fire scrapper, brute, tank, corrupter, controller, hell even defender... but nothing on wind or water. And yes I agree with the kinetic being a good example of wind or water. In alot of ways kinetic melee is a prime example of wind melee would replicate. Except more "windish". As far as water goes I just think so many toon idea's can flourish from that. I've always wanted to replicate a "Poseiden" toon. I'm not trying to get them to make frickin air or water benders here. I just feel like we're missing out on some good game content and im sure if they wanted to make a buck off it, people would eat it up.
  2. That's completely understandable. But is there not a way around giving it cruddy graphics or something. I mean they don't have to be like stunning just decent. Like replacing hot feet with like hydro plane or something. They got water all over maps and I gotta say they did a great job on that for the few of us who can run ultra or close to it know that. However when on low quality the water graphics are horrific yet you know its water lol.
  3. I know I know.... it's probably hard for them to come up with something and i'm sure someone has mentioned this before. But I didn't see anything relevant when I searched it so here we go. Additional power sets.... Yeah you knew what I was going to complain about. We have fire, we have dark, electric.... ice.... etc etc. But the most commonly found and deadly natural forces on the planet air and water are not implemented in the game. The reason I put storm does not count in the title is simply this. Yes storm has a tornado; yes storm control has hurricane; yes storm even has gale... but really... that doesn't come close to being actually useful nor doing what wind is actually capable of doing. Let's take some powers for example. Tornado tosses foes around like ragdolls but is capable of being so much more than that, as well as hurricane. ONE hurricane by the name of Katrina decimated New Orleans, yet in game all it does is a little whirl around you knocking people back? How about an actual decent sized tornado that does DoT with rains being forced up to 100 mph. Even with distinct archetypes it could be implemented in one way or another; yes even a wind brute. Tornado fist (in essence the same as energy's whirling fist) hurricane barrage (same as flurry) gale kick (same as street justices spinning kick) and just add some wind and knockback and wahlah. As for Blasters and such I mean do we need to get into that. Every type of blaster is similiar in almost every ways.

Now on to water. Water controllers powers are infinite. Immobilize them in a bubble of water, make a wave for knockback, pouring rain as a stealth, Healing mist as a regen boost. Water melee can consist of making different weapons from water, self healing, could even make some defensive aura's with it, like hydro aura, hot steam, etc etc. Any other thoughts or comments?
  4. I'm still kinda new though I have a few high level characters but I have yet to find a successful melee combination. I've been trying tanks, brutes, and scrappers. I've still yet to find a good set but i'm leaning towards kinetic melee as the damage is seemingly very strong though the movements take a while before it actually attacks. But I can't determine what should go with it to make it actually work. Any idea's? I've been using a scrapper and the survivability is next to nothing on him when the crowd actually does land a hit but I have noticed that If I can get in my hits quick enough I can wipe out entire crowds with the necessary inspirations. However that does not keep me alive. The last I tried was a scrapper with KM/SR and I avoid most BUT not all. And when they do hit it's only a matter of time before I drop like a rock.
