Ululator

My Ice/Ice (yeah I know) quasi-perma (with incarnates) Dom ends up in melee range ALOT. (I have several Ice Sword attacks and my AoE Hold is PBAoE) My IO Sets are slanted towards +RCH and I was thinking about taking Melee as my Hybrid. So I have two questions...

1. Is this even a good idea?

2. If it is a good idea, do I take the resistance (core) or defense (radial).

C. Has anyone looked at what kinda levels their defense gets up to while fighting with hybrid melee running? is it 20%? 30%? 40%?

OK so then let me phrase it this way.

You have Stamina but only one slotted.

You have a 50+3 End Mod IO and either a regular or store bought Performance Shifter: Chance for +Endurance Proc (since it seems they trigger at the same rate now...or do they?).

Which would you put in Stamina?

Not for any particular toon. Just curious and hoping someone would do the math for me.

I was basing my curiosity on what I read on PW. Seemed like a store bought versiion might end up triggering enough (if placed in an auto) to give you more end than the increase in recovery you would get from a 50+3 End Mod IO.

from Paragon Wiki:
Crafted version: Gives a 20% chance of granting the powers target a small infusion of endurance.

Store-bought version: Gives a chance of granting the powers target a small infusion of endurance. This effect will trigger roughly 1.5 times per minute.

Which would give me more endurance in Stamina. A 50+3 End Mod I.O. or a store bought Performance Shifter +End proc?

Not sure who wrote the theme that plays when you get to the login screen but it is awesome. It's one of those classically epic soundtrack-type pieces and I really enjoy listening to it as it sets the atmosphere for the game.

But I would like there to be a check box on the login screen that you can check if you want the opening theme to continue playing to completion as you actually login and start playing the game. It would play as you logged in but continue playing until it was over while you ran around in game. After it was over, the music appropriate for the zone you were in would start playing.

It just sucks to have this awesome music get you into the mood to play the game and have it stop right as you actually get in the game.


Puh-LEEEEZE??!?!?!?!?!

In the Incarnate power description I have found a couple of things that confuse me. In Vigor Core Paragon the description says the power "increases endurance reduction" and in the description for Cardiac Core Paragon it says the power "reduces endurance cost". My question is how do these two things differ.

Well that would explain it. OK thanks for the head's up. I will just do my best to recreate it with the remaining face choices.

I resubscribed recently after a prolonged hiatus. (Hiatus? He barely knows us!!)

So I go to the tailor to update my costume on main main (but this happens on most all my toons). When I select the costume to update, it appears with some change(s) already made. As soon as it pops up I already have a costume part changed and some amount of inf is listed in the place where the supposed change was made. On my main it was my face. 400000inf for a change that was there when I opened the costume in the tailor window. This toon is way old and I never saved this costume so I can't remember what the original settings for the face were but I definitely don't like the new face that has mysteriously been put there and would like to be able to change the costume without having to accept the new face that I didn't put there!@.

Anyone else see this happen and/or know how to fix?

Obviously this is not a big deal at all. But... when you click on the link to the Patch Notes that is at the top of the launcher (or the recent link to the issue 19 overview in the MOTD space on the launcher), it always opens in Internet Explorer instead of the default browser. For me this means I have to cut and past the link from there to Firefox (my default and preferred browser) Isn't there a way for the link to be rewritten so as to open in the default browser? Let me reiterate that this is not affecting my game play or enjoyment of the game and I don't want to sound like I am complaining about this. Simply bringing up a valid point in the correct forum.

I live in Austin, Tx and when I go to the grocery store near my house, they have a rack full of Cox, WoW, ExTeel, etc cards sitting on the counter. Of course I pay by CC so I don't need them. Maybe I should buy them all and put them on eBay. Or y'all could just all move to Austin.
