    This.

S'up, Tiggy, get back in the game already. (btw, if you want a "refer a friend back" code, I can try to scare one up for you.)
  3. If anyone is on Facebook and wanted to read more on this, there's a fan group dedicated to the heroics of Electron Boy.

  4. Happy anniversary, from IRON to the new kids on the block. Your party's too early for my attendance that Saturday (dinner), but I wish you guys the best for the next five years.

  6. Sorry for cross-posting here, but Freedom's my home town, and I know some of you would dig this story six ways to Sunday. Check out my post here to read about how Make-A-Wish Foundation took a boy suffering with cancer and made him Electron Boy for a day.

Thursday was shaping up to be just another school day for 13-year-old Erik Martin, but then something extraordinary happened: Spider-Man called.

Spider-Man happens to be one of the few people who knows that Erik, too, has a secret identity — he's Electron Boy, a superhero who fights the powers of evil with light.

    And Spider-Man needed Erik's help.

Erik, who is living with liver cancer, has always wanted to be a superhero. On Thursday, the regional chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation granted him that wish with an elaborate event that involved hundreds of volunteers in Bellevue and Seattle.

    This pic says it all.
  8. Gun Father (DP/Fire Blaster) at your service. I think I can make next Monday.

    o.O Wow, serious thread necro...

...but to answer your question, Tina and I went to a favorite mom-n-pop French bistro named "La Palais" and had a delightful time. Thank you for asking nearly five months later, Syn? XD

Yeah, but I didn't get the HUD, with all our witty WTF repartee.

Luna: I was on my DP/Fire blaster, Gun Father last night. As we headed back to Positron (I think for part two), I came face to face... with my nemesis.

    Father Gun.

    Empath/DP Defender.

Same hat. And although I didn't see it, I'd guess, same gun style, from his dress.

I'd hopped right in front of him, did a "whuuu?", and declared in local, "YOU AM BIZARRO TURG". It just went to hell from there. XD

  15. Luna: I feel like I always do this... consider me an alt for this run. I think I'll make it tonight, but I have a few items sprung on me at the last minute that might keep me from being there on time. Sorry. I'll run one of your TFs this year, I hope.
  16. You know what bugs me? That big Devouring Earth cave door off to the west, south of Point Du Hoc. Seems like that door was built for some reason we haven't figured out yet. Hell, I even had MB click on the aforementioned hotspots to see if maybe the door would unlock or something, no dice.

They're supposed to, but this isn't the case. I've had to retool "Ghost 1" twice so far. However, there's some leniency here on editing and getting it re-DC'd. Just PM Dr. Aeon to notify him of the status change, and he's been very responsive on reflagging it.

So I don't know if "DC immunity" is still in effect, but the consequences of it have been drastically reduced.

At least until Dr. Aeon quits from the stress of us PMing him every time we make a change.

It's a little quieter in AP and the high transit areas, yes. Looking at my global lists, though, I'm seeing about double what I saw a few months ago. At least for teaming, I don't hurt at all when I want a team, but I also stick with my global friends and channel contacts instead of pub teaming.

I have noticed that Virtue's been dipping into the yellow more often than Freedom. They always say that "it's a measure of server stress, not population", but in my eyes that's roughly analagous (wouldn't it be a kick if the pro farmers had moved there for better opportunities? ). If you're asking where our population went... well, it IS six years later. As good as COH still is (and Issue 17 is pretty snazzy in my books), people look at the age and would rather go for the "new hotness" of other, more technically savvy games. Understandable, but I think people need something as bar-raising as Going Rogue to try this as a new game.

Then again, I've chatted with a number of new players too within the last week, and they were generally trial account or brand-new sub status who picked up the game on their own. So marketing's doing SOMETHING right there.

We'll see. The house is a bit quieter, but that just means more signal, less noise. I'm diggin' it.

I think it's a matter of self defense on the Dev's part. I mean, seriously. Most of us BHs got all of Issue 17's badge in the first day. The only way they could draw out the badge work is by teasing us with vague rumors.

    Me. I'll be absolutely confidential.

Leandro has a few suggestions on this, I'll let him take the floor. Just remember, BH-grade bugs need to be game-changing issues, like bigtime XP exploits in AE, etc. "Hey, this wall is weird looking" won't cut it.
  21. Y'know, the only easter egg I remember is the one in the projector area, when you click on the desk.

Well now. I have some time at work. Lemme login and use that nifty "Walk" power to check out every nook and cranny of RWZ while I rebuild these SQL tables.

(I wonder if the areas are opened up when the shields come down... like there's some sort of Rikti Dance Party beneath the saucer...
