  1. I pop in with something every so often so thanks for the welcome back
  2. EoE teams tonight and tomorrow perhaps? If I can get some login time tonight we can head to PI again in preferation for Friday!
  3. I was kind of... "eh!?" when new i19 zones were mentioned, unless thats slippage of confirmed i20 zones *cough cough something with battleships perhaps?*
  4. Thankyou for the kind comments and suggestions for improvement guys, I'll do some more adjustments asap

Also was good to see you on that LGTF Henri, quite how we've been missing each other all this time is anyone's guess, but I'm glad that Zero is memorable!

    Huuuup

Not sure if you remember be, but the name sounds familiar!

Southampton eh? Nice to see some locals on board!
  6. Whilst I would like to name the recipient, the very nature of what we do means I can never name this very special lady on Union, for the many enemies we are yet but to face would use this information against us; however.

  7. Apologies for the thread necromancy but rather than starting a new thread I thought I'd (try) keep things tidy on here!

There are some more subtle details in this one so it really needs a fullsize viewing. I'm still tweaking the lighting on Zero himself, so this might get updated a few times before its finally finished.
  8. I'll be here over the weekend, feel free to send me a tell @Tsumijuzero
  9. I'll be there again Lady, leading a team or supporting at your discretion.
  10. Raid report 11/02/11:

First blueside CoP: We encountered the Storm AV and pasted his white butt across the floor in under 25 minutes. A fantastic raid which everyone followed strategy wise, to the letter!

First redside CoP: We had problems with the pillars for pass 1 and 2, however with a little patience and adjustment to attack rates, we got a good pass at the pillars and took them down. We had a few rogue players attacking before the order, so we had to do a combat reset, but once we were in the pattern from AV to mobs, again the Storm AV fell to our collective might.

Second blueside CoP: Alas we were lacking in firepower by way of HVAS etc on attempt 2, our first run expended a lot of our temporary powers and we wern't able to burn through the HP as fast. Still, 2 Purple takedowns in one night is still something that Union can be proud of!!!
  11. now thats cutting it close, but I would expect nothing less than sub 5 second precision from your good self
  12. Sorry chap, it seems it's infectious...
  13. Apologies first off if this seems a bit dramatic, but this is truly how i'm feeling having read that febuary update under development.

With the recent posts regarding Incarnate trials, I would just like to take this time to shout out to Union about my recent experience of our community. Since I19, I have seen so many people going out of their way to run TF's, raids, assist with Trials and come together in a way I hadn't seen in a long time.

I am proud to stand among my fellow Unionites, prouder still to have supported and been supported myself by the many pillars of our community.

I look forward to learning more of the upcoming challenges we will face together, not only so that we can be successful, but so that as more incarnates emerge from amongst us, that we will see more of these battles where we are no longer just assisting other "players" but are fighting with all our respective might for those we now know as friends.

Union, our future lies at the other side of the many battles ahead, I hope to see all of you on that journey and wish that I may have the pleasure of fighting alongside, or perhaps leading, should I be granted that honor, many of you into these new encounters!

I think the intention is more of an active queue, similar to how the actual game login queue works. We'll know more as the annoucements come in! I'm actually almost giddy at the thought of mass carnage with my fellow Unionites of this nature! It seems now that CoP's are just going to be a warmup!!!
  15. or animated hair for you, impact craters from large jumps for the masses and much quicker katana animations for me? :P
  16. I had been planning a very large script document for a large scale raid encounter with multiple teams and layers of objectives for level 50 players to experience.

Having read the first post, I've now binned said document as it seems the Dev team have opened a portal into my head, used all the great bits I had hoped to see in the game one day and dip them in pure awesomeness.

I CANNOT WAIT for I20 having read this, dev team, you have rounded my day off with a bang!
  17. I think we are forgetting the main point here, we COULD have NOT had 19.5 and had to wait for the incarnate trials for our rare's and very rare bonuses, but the TF's are an alternate and earlier way of achieving them. Issue 19 could have been left running on the servers with us just accumulating shards until Issue 20 is released.
  18. I do think it would be GREAT to see these Task Forces brought upto date, having done them I did find it enjoyable to move through new terrain and some of the AV fights were great, however the mission technology is really old now, the missions are glowies and defeat alls and really don't stand out in the way that things like the ITF, LGTF, STF and 5TF do.

I had a lot of ideas for revamping the Shadow Shard and introducing a few encounters in the Shard as well that could tie in nicely for incarnates, I did ask Avatea for what format the dev team usually write up their ideas so I could submit it properly but alas no reply.

I do however, wish you luck with weekend Shard TF's, if I wasn't working I'd roll my tank through them with you for sure!!!
  19. Base Layout ( has been updated a lot recently)

    ***EDIT***
In fact that post's really out of date! The workshop is MUCH bigger now, the medical bay was updated this week and cave room is missing! So you're best bet is if you want to see the base, send me a tell ingame.

As for CoP regarding teams, yes you're right again Damz you just need 3 members online from the same SG and a whole load of invites to other players! My intent has always been to get enough SG members to fufill the 3 team member requirements during the majority of peak times so that we can do community CoP runs more often and even (ir someone fancies a go) during the week if I'm offline.

Don't worry about location so much, as long as the team withdraws without casualty thats the main thing! And always a pleasure to help bud, its a lot to take in keeping up with status checks, combat, position, targeting and team chatter so more and more of that can be brought into it as other raids progress.

I think it was a first for him as well, but he accepted (and we gave him the info he needed) and he led the team.

I loved the fact that this was the first time raid for many and they fought Hami with success.

And I loved that the teams at the end was going on such automaton (25% mito marker) that they leaped into action even before my all clear.
I was a little Uhh.... when everyone leapt into battle before the broadcast, but I think enough people, when seeing the attack push in made the right decision to support them rather than withdraw. It was a great raid, which I learnt a few tricks from and I hope all the first timers had an experience that makes them want to do it again!
  21. Excellent work as always everyone
  22. I run a Supergroup called the Zero Strykers, whose primary function is to facilitate the Cathedral of Pain trials on Union, if you wish to join, even as a temporary measure there are plenty of facilities for use such as teleporters and workshop that you are welcome to make use of until such time that you find a more permanant SG, or decide to stay and support regular CoP runs
  23. Quick update: Due to the Strike Pack going live yesterday, the EoE farm was discussed and pushed back to this evening in Peregrine Island due to the number of STF's running after the client came back up yesterday.

    ***EDIT***
Todays client suggests unslotting RARE boosts as they are causing client instability.
  24. As you guys all know I've been getting Cathedral of Pain runs, Mothership raids on occasion and am always happy to support Hamidon offensives. If I can be of service to support this initiative, as always please contact me!

  25. I'll be there Lady, what do you need of me?
