It was a good raid too.

Blapping still exists. My main is an Elec. x3. I went with Elec. epic, it provides a good cone with Static Discharge, another hold (which is good), Charged armor for resist and Surge of Power stacked with armors can be sweet for a little while. Even EMP can have it's uses, though I don't use it.

That's just my personal feel for it. I love to sap and pound those dastardly evil-doers.

Currently, I'm on a static team where I and another both have Fire/Fire blappers. It's fun when you have that tank holding agro for you.

There seem to be a lot of players that choose not to remember that they didn't know it all, at one time. Selective amnesia is a beautiful thing. We all have to be patient with new players. Without them this game will be doomed. And I for one want to see it continue for a good long time.

Also, if you are running a Mac, http://planner.cohtitan.com/planner is available to you. So you can more accurately plan your build. It's online so no download needed. You can also save your builds with it. It isn't as user friendly as the link Rangle gave you, which is the one I actually use as well.

Much as Justaris said. I was of the opinion that this event was on hold. And also, I too have a very flexible schedule which will allow me to join. I just need to hear the word and I will make every effort to be available. I'm just watching to see if any news pops up on here.

On my Electric blaster, using my nuke against only one enemy, preferably an AV, I only lose the 40 endurance. It's when I hit multiple foes that I am completely drained. Luckily, even if drained, I can pop a blue, run in, hit Power Sink and fill my blue bar immediately, if any enemies survived, that is.

Count me in. I would love to try to get a run done. Fortunately I should be able to make it this time. I will copy my WS "Thunderous Eclipse" over to the test server and meet up with everyone in Cimerora.

Here's hoping we can pull a run off this time.

Thanks for the replies. It didn't really take much to convince me to try my PB again. I think I am going to start over at level 1 rather than re-spec and run a toon that is already at a high level. That way I can experience the character from start to finish.

I am no stranger to playing heroes/villains with powersets that aren't considered top tier, call it my love for the underdog. Not to say that I think the AT is underpowered, just that at first blush the numbers made me wince. Believe me, I am no min/maxer.

I play primarily for the concept and, when I do that correctly, I can see them all the way to 50.

Again, thanks for the replies and giving your reasons why human-only is a perfectly viable option. I certainly intend to try that variant.

Now I am not unfamiliar with Kheldians, I have a lvl 50 WS and a lvl 43 PB. Both are Tri-Form. Now, to be honest, the WS was quicker and more fun, for me, to level up. The PB has been collecting dust for quite some time. I was just kind of daydreaming and was considering re-speccing into a Human-only PB and started looking at the numbers. To my consternation I discovered that the PB only does about tanker level damage coupled with approximately scrapper level resistances. It seems to make more sense to build a scrapper and get much greater damage or a tank and get better res/def.

Why is it that you, the human-only enthusiasts, prefer your version of the AT. I am willing to be convinced by your greater knowledge and experience.

All input would be most appreciated.

Sorry to hear the event didn't work out. I had to attend a wedding this weekend, I just knew the ITF would be held on a weekend that I would be on the road. Oh well, perhaps next time. I definitely want to do this, if you want to try again, I don't have any upcoming events.

I have the same problem when trying to get onto the test server. The live servers seem to be ok though. Hopefully there will be a fix for this. I hate to do a respec without testing it first.

Thunderous Eclipse for my Warshade. It seems to work. Thunderous for all of the booming due to shape shifting and the storm aspect, Eclipse for one of the signature powers and for the celestial event.

Hey let me in on this event as well. I currently have a lvl 42 Warshade with the name Thunderous Eclipse.

I will get her copied over to the test server as soon as a date is set. Hopefully I can get another level or 2 before then.

Most weeknights work for me, and I can probably get on during the weekend if given a bit of advance notice.

I have noticed the lack of crash every once in a while. It only ever happens to me when in an AV fight and just the AV is hit. Once I hit multiple targets my endurance drops like a stone. The number of targets must multiply the endurance cost to the caster.

My First Super was a triple Elec. And I love him still. I love to use Thunderous Blast, pop a blue and then use Power Sink on any remaining enemies to top off my endurance again.

It can be tons of fun and you don't see too many toons playing sapper. I use Short Circuit and Power Sink then start firing off my blasts, when I don't have my nuke up. It can be dangerous though, because I can't completely drain a group with just one shot, I need both SC and PS and that can give the enemy a chance to hit HARD.

Still, it is good clean fun.

I don't generally use Light Form in the middle of battle, unless it's going badly. I hate the crash myself.

I usually reserve using it for when a battle goes REALLY badly and I die. I then hit Restore Essence and Light Form in quick succession.

I just use it as a quick "Get back into battle with extra defense." buff. It gives me a reason to actually use that self-rez that I picked up.

I know it isn't the original purpose of the power, but that's the point of personal gameplay.
