So... you can still get a drop from a kill even though its within the 10m downtime? I thought you couldn't so it would discourage farming.

Ah, thanks. I was just curious as I've been takin' my Desktop mobile to school and home going from a 17" monitor to a 22" everyday somewhat troublesome. I guess it wouldn't be common for people to change their resolution as often as I do but thanks for the link fellas. I will be doing some tweaking.

I just wanted to ask if there is any way to get an option in the CoV/CoH Updater window to provide a drop-down option to adjust resolution before loading in-game instead of changin' the resolution in-game and restarting.

If you guys ever get bored I wouldn't mind seein these tactics in action on Test =)

Hehe I was bored at RV one day and snook (its not a word) around hero base and thought hey i wonder if I could get to the hero base portal? Oh, how cool it would to get into heroside! Muahaha. I sent out Gang War got my pets together over a lone Longbow and Group Teleported several times into the base and I clicked on the portal to find a window telling me that I was denied access =(

Some reason I got booted out of Test when I was zoning into RV from Grandville. Took me straight to the login screen >.<

i've seen sr/dm scrappers do well against a ninjas/dark. he jumped in the middle of them head first. the scrapper went straight for the mastermind and kept hackin' away at him. tar patch and darkest night he was still kickin' him in the balls. this mm is actually very good against the majority of other mm's but he had trouble landin' his heals off of a sr/ scrapper. i havent seen any other build take him down like that

i tried out the sr/dm on my thugs/poison and managed to take him down rather quickly. i landed my power boosted debuffs on him before he tried to get into elude. tried again the 2nd time this time with him going into elude before my debuffs could land and ended up havin' to try to outlast his elude before taking him down again.

going straight for the pets is a good idea and is usually a pretty successful tactic. especially on a 2v1 with one person going after the mm and the other on pets. i find it a common question in zone pvp and i couldnt come up with a better suggestion besides going straight for the pets. i picked up the presense pool to avoid that.

i was curious how people in other servers that have dealt with them. thanks for the replies.

as for inferno its not as devastating as it used to be pre-13. it can still do a good amount of damage but not enough to kill him in 1-2 shots like before. i still see it used but not as much. when i saw a blaster before i would keep my pets spread out to absorb the blast without taking too much damage but even now its not really necessary anymore to spread the pets out.

Get the 285's the price difference was only like $20 and the cards are that much better. CompUSA has them with rebates for $339.00. At first we were just gonna update our motherboards and video cards and then suddenly it was just a whole new system, i'm not complaining though

Actually, we bought them both for $289/each on sale on NewEgg which we felt pretty lucky 'cause we checked again today and they're $389 now at regular price. We prob would have got the 285s if we didn't need to buy power supplies and RAM. But, I figured we could just get these for now and just buy 2x more later when they're cheaper and get motherboards that supply 2x PCI-X x16s slots and SLI them.

Sorry to have missed out on Comic Con. We ended up getting tied up w/ Mrs. Trance's brother and g/f coming down from MA on short notice to visit and we ended up going to Sea World that weekend. We'll post pics to share on MySpace shortly.

We had 2 inches yesterday in Atlanta, that might as well be a blizzard. People were flocking to the grocery store and gas stations, it was hilarious. Then they let the kids out of school today even though the snow was gone. I just laugh because people in the south wonder why northerners say they are soft. My boss is from Michigan and we were laughing today about how we used to have to get 6-8 inches just to get a 2-hour delay, here if they even forecast flurries, the world is coming to an end.

I walked out to my car on my driveway this morning and found my car covered in a thin layer of ice. I had a lil mini panic as I was trying to figure out how the hell I'm gonna drive through this crap. And I live in Palm Bay, Florida (central florida/east coast). The ice melted about a mile down the road going 30mph.

Edit: I found that it wasn't nearly as cold as it was any other day.
