So we are once again back to, Do we do anything that the other AT's can't?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes. Blasters are 1st to get the Debt Badges, 1st to get the Mez Badges, we get frequent fliers miles for Hospital Teleportations, and I think they are implimenting another new Badge for Blasters. Everytime you type healwwwaaaaassssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss sssssssss right before death it gets you a little closer to the Badge. I think it's set up like the old Rikti Monkey Badge, you need around 9,000 to get it. I think most Blasters should have this before SOs.
The cool thing, once you get the L3 Debt Badge, L3 Mez Badge, and the WASD Badge, you get a special Blaster Accolade. Every time you die Statesman appears on your screen, points at you and yells "Cry more noob!" Then laughs as he fades away and you appear in the Hospital...again. It's meant to improve 'morale' of the Blaster community.

That made me laugh. -
The only suggestion that I can think of that hasn't been posted yet, is the ability to view our own info the way we view everyone else's. A lot of people were wanting this just to see what they look like to other players, and giving them an idea of how their Bio's actually looked outside of the ID screen. Seems like such a small thing, but there were so many happy happy people when it came about.

According to Statesman in the original post of this thread it's Ranged Damage.

So an unprotected Spines Scrapper?

I really must ask, cause I don't I know yet. What the heck is our role? Cause other than being the people who get Paragon City out of debt, I don't really know.

I am also going to ask if we can get badge information updates put into the patch notes. We love the fixes and the help that is being given to the Badge Hunting community, but it seems like there is a dance that forms with every single patch. We have to run around and guess what is fixed and what is still in the process of being fixes. Is this on purpose for your "air of mystery," due to lack of foresight, or do you guys have a list of things that you deem "worthy" to be in the patch notes.
It may be something as simple as: If you put everything that was done to the game in the patch notes each patch description would be humongous. I doubt any of us on this side would mind though. We like to see what is going on with the world that we live in, and most of us don't like playing the guessing game about what happened in this patch and that patch. I know some thing should stay mysteries, and some things you guys have decided to leave a mystery for whatever reason, but the things that you talk openly with us about shouldn't be among that list. If we know it is explicitly happening, it's not exactly hidden. The only obfuscation comes in the time it appears.
Please let us know your feelings on the situation, because a lot of us have been curious about this for some time. -

Rocketman is occasionally not awarded after 10 launches. This is compounded by a lot of existing debate over its requirements. Possible causes would include if it's actually for 10 of one type of rocket (a simple confusion in requirements) or that the count resets if you zone. It's also possible there was a problem with the count resetting back when the 5-hour badges used to reset and people are trying to include old, forgotten launches in their current totals. In any case it would be useful to get a Dev's assurance that it's working OK from this point forward, and perhaps clarification on its requirements.

As far as I can tell, the counter for this badge was reset, and it is now given correctly for 5 rocket launches. I will try and test this again. For my villain, my total rocket launch count is about 14, 5 of which came after the patch that fixed the timed badges. -
Ok, a friend of mine and I did both of the Lunata arcs the other day at level 13 with only the first badge. So either we lucked out a whole lot, or it is fixed now. If you want a screenie of both the souveniers let me know, but other people may want to try now (and no, I have no clue what the level limit on the second arc is, though I would assume the same as the first one since the enemies were the same level.)

I will throw this under the Blance Heading cause I think it fits there the best:
I am going to second the suggestion (that I believe has been made a few times), for Aim and possibly Build-Up to increase perception. It's not exactly game-breaking to have 10 seconds of perception, and it would be nice for AT's, but especially blasters, that have these powers to be able to take an inherent way to see Hidden things.
As of right now Targetting Drone is all we have unless we want to sacrifice slots for Tactis (which most of us do not). It seems like a majority of the other AT's have someone way to deal with Stalkers in at least a small way in their AT somewhere, or at least can survive an AS at full strength.
Unless we get a crazy re-vamp on some powers, Aim and BU are the only places that seem reasonable for +perception to appear, and I am still curious as to why it wasn't there in the first place. -

Abandon all hope, ye who... *sob*

I abandoned hope a long time ago. It was about the time the we had two threads talking about Blaster Grievances running around in this forum, that totalled well over a thousand pages, and no red-names to be found anywhere in or near them.
I do seem to recall Statesman saying in one of his 'Ask The Man on The Mountain' sessions that he thinks it would be a good idea to look at Electricity. I think I cried (and not tears of joy). -
I think it would be a good idea, if for nothing else, then to see the word DEFIANCE pop up over a stalkers head as I bonesmasher him.

If you AS a blapper in PvP and you don't kill them, you should be scared, because they are going to rock your world. However, if you immediately run away, it takes too long to find another target before Defiance goes away....and that is even if the target is 12 feet away.

I can aggree with your statement Wokka, that Defiance is more useful in the low levels when we can "survive" hits. The problem though, is that Blasters are fine in the low levels. Always have been IMO. We don't need more help pre-25.
If you know what you are doing, a blaster is the easiest characters to get to 25 (emphasis on the know what you are doing part). However, it is our post 25 game that makes everyone sad. This is the section of the game that has brought out a lot of the complaints that most of us have.
I am not going to do my take on the other inherents, because it really doesn't help our issue. Each AT has their own thing, just let it be that. But, it would be nice if our inherent was useful for as many levels as the other AT's are. It does need to be uber, not in the least. But, I would like to see it be effective.
So, we all know what the problem with Defiance is (apart from the bugginess of it's actual working). It is that we are dead when it kicks in, or those of us who are smart have popped insps or ran. But the real meat of this, is that in the post-25 game, where we actually need a little love, our "inherent" becomes more of a distraction than anything. If it worked equally well at all levels, then I would say we could not really complain, but it doesn't. -
I really liked your overview of everything, and gave me a lot to think about. I play a FF/Rad defender, and Bots/FF Mastermind, so I am always looking for opinions on the powers. Overall, really good and I agree with pretty much everything that was stated.
I would like to add though, Your title is a little misleading, and was your introduction. I was expecting some info on Rad seeming as how good intellectual information about it seems to be sparse (at least to me), but whatever. Maybe in an update?
