Something did come up and I doubt I will make it back in time ... have a great time!

Actually if there is still room for him to maneuver (concept wise I mean .. not for Bayani himself) ... a drawing is the best way to illustrate your opinion (the thousand words thing and all). Nice sketch btw.
-
Sign me up as an Alt (Thorny Fu, 22 Spines/Ninj) as I will only be able to confirm my presence Friday night or Saturday morning. Oh and don't wait for me if I am not there but I will try to confirm.

3 very nice sketches ... I especially like the "in your face" look of the last one.

3 very nice pieces but that Totmoartsstudio2 piece is very shiny, dynamic and colorful. Really cool.
Gratz for all of those! -
Well apparently artists don't like my taste for his skin tone and tend to pick other colors ... even for his hair ... I just don't argue much about it. But, if you do look at his reference shots (or here) you will see that his skin is "red". I may have gone a tad too "burgondee" and less "red" ... I probably should have highlighted my base color instead of adding shadows to it ... but hey ... like I said not all perfect but it's still closer to what it should be than most of my art of him
Another example of my coloring his face in those tones can be seen on my colors of Reiq's piece

This sounds fun. Put me down as an Alt, I will only be able to confirm I can make it on Saturday.
I will be bringing Flaming Core, a lvl 41 Fire Control/Thermal Radiation Controler
(I also have a 42 Fire/DA Brute if we would prefer a meat shield) -
Love seeing these concepts Bayani. I like the changes you made from piece 1 to piece 2 ... though I love Bayani's pose in piece 2, I do find it a little "foolish" that he isn't even looking at his attackers while having no protection from their shots. But he is a hero ... so it all works.
I think the smoke and stuff will really help with the impression of "falling" because even with the very "a propos" changes to the building that did help the perspective and the action ... it still seems like it could look a little static. I would just be afraid for them to look as if they were on the ground. But, I am sure that will all work itself out when the details are worked into the piece.
Looking forward to seeing another one of your great pieces come together.
Great imagination as always. -

Three very cool piece. I really like the first one (Mr-Author's) but mostly because there seems to be a story attached to it (as you have mentionned) and one gets undoubtly intriged at what might be happening there. Very nice stuff!

Happy birthday Talia
Hope you had a good time and maybe even took a little advantage of the opportunities offred by the day

It does look a little funny but I think it's a lighting effect ... but it isn't wrong. The thumb is actually under his chin. The ring finger is a little long though which also gives us the impression that it is the middle finger.

I will sign up with Bloodheart SD/SS 47 tank (but I have a 47 def and 47 scrap if we have too many tanks)

Here is the "trinket" I bought to upgrade my olympus 2.3 MPix compact.
I have only had it for a month or so (bought it for my trip to the Vancouver Olympics) but I have been enjoying it quite a bit.

Here are my two slideshows of the games if you feel like seeing a few pics
Olympics Part 1
Olympics Part 2
(the comments are in French ... sorry about that)
But as mentionned by others ... the camera is one thing ... the other is just like drawing ... you have to practice, practice, practice ... to get a good handle on the tool and to see things in a different way. So yeah ... I'm still working on that part ... I need to take more pictures and try stuff. -
This one I should be free for! Yay!
I'll bring my Fu!

Quote:Great idea and a beautiful end result.Art by David Nakayama. It's an old piece...the first commission I've ever gotten actually. The original had Bayani punching Statesman but I wanted to the image of Bayani for a special page in the comic I'm working on. I had Eddy photoshop out Statesman and then manipulate the lines to align the figure more vertically; then he re-colored the piece. Looks ready for print now.
Gratz Bayani! -

I wanted to see what he could do with Maiden ... I figured for a head shot she might be more interesting ... yeah I have 3 or 4 toons I pick from when I get art done ... and no ... poor ol'Blackthorn didn't win that draw ... but he has some cool stuff coming

-
Very very nice poster ... I like seeing familiar faces in group pieces.
-
Edit: Oups ... RL struck ... might actually have to skip ... will come back to sign up if I can make it after all.
-
I got Jacob too ... not so ... well I would have prefered ... oh wait ... yeah ... most anythign I think ... I guess Gaga would probably have been my best pick but hey ... it's still funny when you look at your watcher icons or your friends icon to see all the icons moving ... it's funny.
