Wow cool piece. I love the pose.
Gratz Brandon and as mentionned before ... really nice of you Buckeye. -
Simply saying so cute ... would sound ... repetitive by now ... but ... well ... it is ... just sooooooo cute ... so there ... /shrug
really nice man -
Ok then for the group thingy ... why not put our heroes in a spa or something with drinks in hand to comemorate this event? ... hehe ...

Great sketch LadyJ I really like it. If I may put in one comment, the scabard should be on the outside of her leg (unless she draws her katana in a very unusual way), but (not that I care, just mentionning) both are in the right hand.
Looking forward to seeing this piece finished. -
Really happy for you Kat, these two did do a very great job. I had seen Brandon's original drawing. It is very nice and has great details. Battlewraith's colors have that nice little punch but without taking the attention away from the drawing. Really nice.

Yeah I think it's like TA put it ... plus ... when you think about it ... if wanted to go to his next door neighbour and ask them to create a toon in CoX so he can use it for April ... it's really his prerogative ... we are just along for the ride.
Then again ... he could open it here every month and post it somewhere else too and completly ignore his post here which would give us the impression that we had a chance and he would still be doing it the way he wants to do it. At least this way, we know where we stand.
We will get chances at more free art anyway ... just hang around -
whoa whoa .. I knew it was GnRs but I couldn't have named the year or the exact title of the album ... I was trying to be acurate.

quick google ftw and precise dates ...

"Sweet Child O' Mine" is a song by the hard rock band Guns N' Roses. It was released on their debut album Appetite for Destruction on August 10, 1987. "Sweet Child O' Mine" was Guns N' Roses' first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100, spending two weeks at the top spot in the summer of 1988.

I posted everywhere but I'll add it here, Sayterra this is a really cool piece. I love the ying-yang concept and the action of the piece to support it. I especially like the detail in AoT, they look fabulous!
70 some layers ... that is quite a bit ... but I totaly understand ... I usually merge most of my colors at the end though to finish up.
Again, great piece. -
Great pieces Bradders. I love the color scheme of the first one. That faded color look seems very fitting and its diffrent from the other pieces out there. Really nice.
The group piece looks like alot of fun, the way I like it ... I love the milk and the tea pot. -
You coloring still inspires me. The skin texture goes above lighting and shadows. Add the fact that you pull it off in 3 hours and it is very impressive.
Great piece, wonderful details.

Oh that's ok. If I missed it, its because it wasn't intended for me. I do have alts on Virtue but they are all below lvl 10, so I will give more active players on that server a chance to shine. I think that was the purpose of the offer anyway.
I was more trying to help the previous posters, but I apprently didn't have all the information to do so. -
Well he could face my She-Demon Zix ( kicking b.tt) [MA/Nin Stalker]
Those claws on her feet are deadly.
or if you prefer a villainly looking villain I have Slashed ( with toys ) to propose. -
you might /e rollthumbs too for a while since good'ol juggy hasn't yet announced what he would do for March ...
-
Thanks Bas and thank you to those that came and visit. I'm going to try to put stuff up once in a while so that there is some new stuff on a somewhat of a regular basis.

Looks really nice. I love the shading you did ... but with alot of dark colors like that, coloring it could be the easiest way to really differenciate the mask from the scarf.
-
With all your postings on DeviantArt, I eventually had to create an account to see certain pieces ... so I figured, since I have an account, I might as well use it.
So I put what little I had up there and you can see them here.
I still need to find that command to link directly to someone else's Deviant account (I saw it in another post recently) and find all those wonderful artists Deviant account name, but I will get there.
Not much but there it is. -

And you wouldn't want to date me. Trust me. I'm nuts, over opininated, fiesty, and...did I mention I'm nuts? LOL
[/ QUOTE ]
Bah! If they are not a lil nuts, I don't want to date them (gets way too boring waaaaaay too fast). Plus, if we are hanging around here ... aren't we all a lil 'special' by default?
throwing in a *hugs* for good measure. -
Gratz Colfire ... that pic looked weird for a second ... I though you were the one in your target window (which is impossible, I know) which said 50 and that said scrapper but then I saw that your task bar said ice sword ... so I started wondering if there was a new kind of scrapper out that I didn't know about .. anyhoo ... forgetting all my confusion there is only one thing to say
CONGRATULATIONS man !!!! -
Gratz on that lvl 50 Juggy ... I know I remember my first (and only) 50th ding very well.
Love the pic of Juggy's face btw. Great lighting and a beautiful ... well ok ... a very well done expression. -
Really cool pic. As mentionned above, the perspective is what strikes you first. Really cool one. But the whole picture is really cool, really.
There is a little something in the sketching style I like too. Not quite sure what it is but the line work is interesting.
Great pic, gratz!
