It's pretty clear that it is magic from the rest of the book though so I'm a little confused how you came to your conclussion?

I'm a little gutted as I was watching this game pre-release and then *POOF* it disappeared off my radar.
I'd never played ANY MMO b4 and was interested to see what this was all about. But, due to a lack of advertising (In the UK anyway) and my n00bishness to online games, I could find NOTHING more about it until I accidently stumbled across it again about a year later.
4 years ingame now (Only just over 3yr VET reward though due to a year in GW) but WISH it could have been longer

I also seem to recall that the Well was either drained completely or destroyed at that time, so it'd be kind of hard for a player to drink from it today. Note: it's been a couple years since I read the novel, so I may be mistaken about that...
In other words, the "Fountain" was built to supply an outlet for the water that was powered by said box. Stefan Richter tried damaging the box itself but left no mark upon it.
I would guess that the box cannot be destroyed and still lays underneath the rubble on the island. -
I agree that the "Bussiness" posts made here are all well thought out and written and are a joy to read.
However.
Is there any chance you guys could maybe make a new thread for "Bussiness Theories" as I don't understand how this discussion has anything to do with the OP.
I understand that it was in reply to something that someone said but it seems to be snowballing into different theories that not all can agree 100% on. -

I don't think we could have a COMPLETE mirror universe though, otherwise the big bang would never have taken place :P
I do hope that they DON'T make EVERYTHING opposite otherwise, for me, things would be a little to easy to second guess.
Don't forget also that the leader of the resistance is one Calvin Scott who is a good guy on Primal Earth also. Although we know little of him atm in GR I think it'd be a little daft if he DID turn out to be "Not so nice". Again, to easy. -

Can someone show me WHERE it says that Stefan Richter on Praetorian Earth was killed pls? All I see as evidence of this so far is conjecture by players.

I think, though, that you're getting confused between an "Alternate" Earth and a complete negative. Not all things are opposite, just .... different.

The guy in the dreads is definitely BaB, he appears in the art book that came with CoV collector's edition (page 14, hero side). Given that BaB started heroing during the late 70's, at which point Maiden Justice would have been in her 60s, it seems more likely that the women to Statesman's left is Miss Liberty, even if she was used as the basis for Maiden Justice in a CoH trailer.

Looking at the loading screen picture:

I can see that, obviously, in the middle is Statesman and on his immediate right (our left) is Sister Psyche. Many also believe that on his immediate left (our right) is Maiden Justice (In her prime) and even MORE think that the guy with the dreadlocks just above her is a young BaB.
Can you confirm these last two and, also, can you tell us anything about the other heroes in this picture?
