I'm wanting to get into melee and have purchased the staff fighting powerset off the market. I paired that up with electric armor on a brute and have been liking it. However from reading posts I'm wonder if when I get to the end game I'll be weak because the big bosses in the incarnate trials and such will take minimal damage due to the versatility of the staff fighting set.
I've seen that street justice is a beast one on one and am wondering if I should pick that up instead if I want to do solid damage end game, or if I can do alright with staff fighting at 50 without spending billions upon billions on IO sets to make up for it?
Any advice would be appreciated or number data for a more mathematical approach but wanted some input before I really delve into trying to figure out an end game build planned out. -
I've been leveling an alt this double exp weekend and got this character up to the 40's. As I'll be able to get him to 50 within the week, I am wanting to know that I'm doing things properly. Please let me know if powers I've taken are pointless as a level 50 or ones that I need to have on me. Also if things re over/underslotted, let me know. I'm not too well versed as to what would be best. I am looking at this character as a PvE character, so doing ITF runs and such.
On a side note I know the enhancements in this guy are rather pitiful, but I'm only holding about 150million so can't splurge on the best things available. Trying to get cash with hero merits into the most expensive recipes available but has been rather slow. So if possible, when dealing with enhancement changes, try to be, frugal?

Thanks for the advice. I've got about 300 million, so I'll be trying to use hero merits to buy the rarer items to cut down on costs.

Heyas, I've been doing pretty well with my current build. I've got a good mix of enhancements in there and I think I good set up of powers chosen. I've got all the incarnate slots unlocked. I'm not sure how best to go over them, but I'll do my best. I am wanting feedback as to how this build is overall, if there are glaring deficiencies that need attending or if something is set up well, but just needs tweaking or moving around. Please let me know as any help would be appreciated.

Destiny - Barrier
Interface - Diamagnetic

Heyas, I wanted to get some feedback for a build with DS/PD. I'm at 23 right now and really liking it, but this is what I'm looking at just using IO enhancements at the moment, not factoring in the whole set spiel just yet. Please let me know if there is any advice you can give me as I'm good at masterminds, but have no experience with these two powersets, so having any mistakes or poorly timed choices pointed out would be most helpful.
Also sorry for the double post, can't seem to delete the one below this. Sorry for the clutter.

I'll probably roll a DS/Poison or DS/Pain. I really love my Thugs?poison MM as he can cripple the defenses of a tough target and really gimp their attacks and recharge lightning fast while my guys pummel them. Would be interested to use Pain though so I can turn the difficulty up a bit with greater healing potential.

Sorry if this has been covered, but i didn't wanna sift through 42 pages of stuff but my question is that for the accolades coming out we'll need badges from missions being completed but those contacts I can no longer get missions from at my level and didn't know I could any from them because I needed to obtain a badge first before I could like Archmage Tarixus. So will we be able to go back and do those missions? Since I'm a big badge freak so I get obsessive of getting everyone I can, especially the beneficial accolades. So any info about this that I could be directed to or anything like that?
-
I don't think anyone has asked this yet, but I am rather curious. I noticed in my SG since we managed to get a nice fat generator today, that it had a health and endurance bar. So does this mean that anything with the health bars, can be destroyed in a raid? And if so, do we have to pay that same amount of prestige to buy one back again? Or would it be something, like once the raid is over all things are put back to full health or something? I really don't wanna have a raid and then need to shell out a million more prestige to replace everything every week.

Our Bad Side
We;re a group of people looking for memeberd who are somewhat active at least, and are looking to have a good time in game with City of Villains. We're just starting up so please PM any of the global chat handles I list here. Thank you and see you on the streets of the rogue isles fellow evil-doers.

Wouldn't it make more sense to allow you to get into soemthing a little before open beta though? I mean buying the game beforehand seems to warrant more than the beta that most can just waltz into.

Well, I ordered from EB Games off of the internet, checked 5-10 business days, since overnight is pointless, and hopefully it'll get here this week... Should've just gone to best buy ><

Well that's for the main game, they say in the thing for the pre-order CD they ship it 1st class mail so it should get to us EB people rather soon
