10.8 is officially coming out mid-next week anyway. I wouldn't try installing the professional workstation drivers on regular cards. -

This game runs REALLY FREAKING HOT. Has for a long time on all my systems I've had. Poor lappy GPU can reach over 100C at stock settings. Try using /maxfps 30 so your GPU doesn't work so hard and /maxinactivefps 1 so you only do 1 FPS when alt-tabbed out.

In any case, why would porting your characters over to a new COH be a priority? It's unlikely to have the same power structure, character attributes and mechanics as the original. You would definitely not be starting at the same character levels(as that would be ludicrous from a dev perspective).
So what exactly is it that you think players would keep besides a costume look?
I have to agree with Arcanaville on this. Porting to a new COX game would be worthless. -

Petition a GM. Also, make sure you get the correct mission. The system is bugged and may give you the wrong mission... even missions from a different tip. Abandon from the mission window.

Make sure the mission you actually get is the correct one. The system is bugged and may give you a mission from a totally different tip. If it is wrong ABANDON FROM THE MISSION WINDOW and reaccept it.

I had gotten the CoT seeds quest earlier though, and when I picked the Villain option I got some Rescued Bane Soldier with Longbow mission. Still got the Villain point for it though. -
The level 50 villain one dealing with Rikti and Kelly Uqua is bugged and gives you a Rogue point if you do the Villain mission of destroying the Rikti base.

i12 cimerora's story is blatantly hero oriented,heroes had 3 arcs from the midnighters whereas villaind had 2 +Darrin Wade so while the content additions are even the nature of Cim has abias towards heroes.
i13 iirc introduced the 2 contacts in cim, the additional Midnighter contact and the SoA. I'd say the 2 cim contacts are even but the additional midnighter had 3 hero arcs and 1 villain arc(that could have been a hero arc with some changes) I guess the Soa evens this out abit but the arcs are so bad people have stopepd caring about them.

as part of i18/GR Tina McIntyre and Maria Jenkins saw an update to thier arcs. I didn't see the automated villainy arc getting a doppleganger for the end fight. I wonder why?
So you spoke about alienating the players well Villains largely feel alienated.
You also talked about putting content where the majority of palyers are, yes that's good business sense however it's also a catch 22. More heroes than villains, so heroes get more content, vilalins get frustrated and bored and either move to hero side or leave, thus there are more heroes than villains so heroes get more content and it repeats.
CoV has been out for 5 or 6 years now and it still needs to catch up to heroes in some areas, whereas heroes have consistently been catching up to villains in the areas that they needed to.
i17... Posi revamp PLUS they put old Posi in Ouro as a slap to the face. Also when was hollows revamp?
