I really enjoy seeing all the pulp and Golden Agers. I especially like the Skull there in his original outfit.
Okay, I'll jump in, hope this isn't a trip for biscuits! Here are a few of mine.
The Masked Shrike, two-fisted aviatrix
PinUp Girl, knife-wielding nose art queen
Victory Gardener, homefront heroine with a really green thumb
Cavalry McClellan, sharp-shooting archaeologist
The Scarlet Specter, pulp-influenced dead girl -
Semaj does sweet work. I especially like US Idol, very clean and very striking! Congrats!
-
Great piece of art, congrats!
Very heroic, very classic.
And yes, add my voice to the clamor for DA goodness. -
Really cute! I especially like her hand position, very graceful and delicate.
-
Awesome, I will keep an eye out on Virtue. I am sure I could stretch my altitis to make a new pulpy character.
-
Also, they are so named because the adventures were printed on cheap pulpy paper.
You might be familiar with such neo-pulp characters as Indiana Jones, the Rocketeer, and Sky Captain.
I'd pay a lot for a City of Pulp Heroes MMO -
*perks* Pulp group? Oooh, do tell!
-
Pulp for the win. It makes me happy just seeing these characters. I love 'em! Especially dig the Phantom since I have a weakness for behatted mystery men in long coats.
-
These are swell! But then I might be very slightly biased since I adore pulp. It's great that you're writing a pulp novel/comic. Best of luck, the world needs more! And grats on the very cool art. Definitely getting a hip Django vibe from the Pistolero, and really dig the look of the Phantom. I especially like that last piece.

That's something I respect. Good luck on more PinUp Girl pics.

Thank youThe world is wide, and it's much more interesting with people having so many different opinions and tastes. I respect your respect!
Thanks for all the kind words, guys. Very much appreciated. This is such a cool forum, I'm glad I finally delurked.
And Wassy, you are definitely on my commission wishlist. I just can't decide what I want you to do. When the right idea comes to me you bet I will be buggin' you. -
What a great idea! This looks good, well organized, easy to read, no bells and whistles, just information. It packs a lot into a small space. Nicely done.
This seems like it will be an excellent resource. -
That is some awesome work right there. Congrats to the new art owners! Wow.
-
I guess some people...like to draw her? I'm kinda fond of her
but hey, everybody to their own thing, right?
I'm just grateful that some people have been interested in drawing her.

Can't wait to see how this one progresses--love it so far! Thanks for putting PinUp on the nose

For some reason I have been fortunate enough to have this generous artist create three pieces of gift art. Talk about an awesome surprise.

The artist, LAGraphics, is a really nice guy, and it looks like he might be taking requests now, too. Drop by his gallery and check it out.
As for being Disneyfied, just move along, nothing to see here. So sorry!
I did check these links and didn't see anything NSFW anywhere nearby, so it should all be fine -
Very cute!
<Hank Hill> But where are the ProPaine accessories? </Hank Hill> -
Cute yet dangerous. I like your style! *watch*

Congratulations, that's some mighty fine arts ya got there, TA!
-
I agree, this is beautiful as it is.
-
I am seriously impressed. Seeing an artist's vision, and a commissioner's vision, over such a series, is going to be really fascinating. Very cool.
-
All gorgeous, I love her style--really digging Graviton Girl's pose. Peng-Peng does beautiful work! Congratulations on four lovely ladies there.
-
It *is* an exciting feeling, isn't it? And if it's the one I saw earlier over at DA, it really was lovely, very cool. Congratulations and bask in the warm glow of new art!

Oooh, I really like this. The twisty movement, the clean look, the colors...mmmm. Nice.
