Bothers me about as much as the fact that my ancient medieval knight, without any training with such weaponry, is able to run, gun, shoot, and frag better than most military professionals who spent all their life practicing.

As I understand it if you take 150damage, you get 1 share (50) and the minion take 2 (100), killing the minion. What happons if you take 200 damage? The minion can not absorb his 2 shares. Is the damage left on the MM or is it lost?

This sounds cool and all, but am I the only one who thinks it is a bit useless?
From my personal experience, if I am taking a large amount of damage, it is because my pets are dying. Having them take more damage is no benefit to me at all. Even when I am taking damage, it is usually not too much for me to absorb, and I get poison trap down before the next wave.
I guess in PVP it may have more of a benefit, or if I really wanted to tank with my MM...but is there really that much benefit for standard PVE play?

Change the Follow command from "follow Aggressive" to "follow Defensive".
I hated the "Aggressive" feature of Follow.
Or type in /macro BG petcom_all Follow Defensive
Unless you want the devs to do it because you're lazy. :P

What Cryptic/NC is concerned with are generally:
1) Image of character -- if you build it in the character generator. I'm not trying to say "we" own blue half capes, and I'm not trying to say we don't. If you build a character in the generator, and then have it drawn, if it's 100% the same character and you are profitting from it, then you might have a problem.
2) Character name & history - technically the character names/history that you create for CoH/CoV are owned by Cryptic/NCsoft. You can use them in fanfiction, etc., but you cannot profit from them.
3) History of Paragon City and all her associated characters (this is the obvious one, of course, and causes least confusion).
Obviously there are many characters with the same names in comic book history. And many that look similar. But if you take a character who exists on one of the servers, and use the same name and same look, and try to use it in a commercial enterprise, you're entering dangerous waters. I'm not going to say if this is right or wrong -- but if you can avoid all potential legal entanglements, why wouldn't you?

It'd still be a gunslinging knight from medieval times who speaks in olde english, which only the skeleton of CoH/V's Sir Morgant.
If I took that skeleton and made it into a completely different char for original use, would that still be stepping on CoH/V toes?
Also, if we deleted our char from your servers, would you still hold rights to them, since they were still made on your servers? Or would you hold them temporarily, or would your rights to them be gone, or what? -
Another twist. I'm a novelist. I'm a writer. I write novels for a living.
What if I want to write a novel of my character, or are in the middle of writing a novel and decide to port a char into CoH/V for my playtime pleasure? -
Personally, I couldn't give any less of a damn about all this drama. We'll just have to wait and see.

That's...pretty much the entire point of the game, as evidenced by several conversations and entering-mission-bubbles. I certainly don't like it, but, hey, it's apparently what the devs want.
As for post-40-power-pooling and side-switching, I would assume that your post-40 powers get deleted, and you have to pick new powers in tune with your alliance. -

This is not an NPC change. ONLY PLAYERS WILL BE AFFECTED. In fact, this works in FAVOR of Stalkers, since now THEY won't be one-shotted by enemy NPCs anymore.
Plus, it also works in favor because now people won't be [censored] and moaning about how AS knocks them down in one hit. PvP fights will be fair. -
Well, uh, seeing as how you never indicated what type of organization we work for, and I wouldn't willingly work for an evil organization, I guess I'd spare the guy.
