Heya Jakeyboy I would have thought Gravity/Rad or Gravity/Kin would be a very fast build to go solo with. As it is Gravity does some nice damage output and along with Rad you can control more or less every mob

Although I have seen Ill/Rad go solo very easily but I'm pretty sure Ill doesn't start picking up until you have all 3 of the pet powers right? My lvl 22 Ill/Sonic controller has only really just been able to start solo'ing easily now that I have PA

Heya! Sonic is a great set where raw damage is concerned The -res affect of sonic's attacks will make it easy for you to solo at any time you wish, in fact you probably could solo easily with it right up to lvl 50

On the other hand, Psy blast does slightly less damage but in terms or range there is much more! You get a nice KB power (telekinetic blast) that would work nicely with the repel power in FF. Similarly, will domination and subdue work as good soft control powers and PvP wise fewer people will be able to resist Psi damage

Ill/Sonic? Bad? Pah lol I think it's ace! Nothing more fun than dropping down disruption field on a set of invincible pets is there Hehe I have to admit it is a very slow build and doesn't start picking up until you get to lvl20+ but is well worth the wait Nice sets for a tank duo too!

I'm thinking of making a TA/Psychic defender but I have absolutely no ideas on what powers to take etc! I thought these to sets would be an interesting combo especially for PvP (no travel powers with TA around).

I'm usually really good with defenders or controllers but any suggestions, comments or example builds would be fab!

As far as my build goes with Mage it is definately worth getting gloom, tenebrous tentacles and nightfall into your build! You have nice DoT damage from gloom, a bit of control with tentacles and added AoE damage from nightfall Torrent is good for knocking enemies back into your tar patch but seeing as your not dark/dark you won't need it! I would take moonbeam to add to your attacks. A lot of people underestimate life drain, the damage output of it is more or less the same as dark blast but the -acc is always a benefit and is great as a back-up heal especially seeing as transfusion can miss it's target

Seemed to go a whole lot better than the last one hehe :P Good going all around, it's great once we work together to get it done Although Capt had a nasty crash somehow we managed to survive in the GM team so thankies to Flush for the healing goodies, same too to Red for the buffs! lol I got my dark defender to lvl 50 quite a few months ago and I still find myself always playing him and amongst the fab heal, rez, debuffs and fear there is that cute lil fluffy too now. go. make. dark. defenders!!!! :P
