No sorry, yours is flawed. I've seen Taskmaster recently. He does not use a shield and if he did it's not a exclusive weapon he uses, he would not have the "shield" power.

Um...no. Captain America does not corner the market on shields. There are a ton of concept characters that could be made using shields. There's a ton that will be made using DB too. The point was that DB did not win the poll. It was just the easier one to implement. Personally, I'm glad they're adding any new set at this point. The devs have really been too slow at getting new sets in the game. They need to add these two, and then a lot more.

Um yes. There are NOT a ton of concept chars who use shields at all who wouldn't just be copying what captain america does with a shield. Please do tell me, if you can who else goes around throwing their shield around like he does? He is SO the basis for this Shield Power. Cause otherwise it's just "Oh I blocked your power. I'm not hurt." Which isn't terribly exciting.

I can think of another thing people do regardless of if the other person is interested...hit on them. So look at PvPers who kill people who aren't interested and compare them with stalker types...

Shields though is a VERY specific power that only one character I know of uses: Captain America. So I can see why that wouldn't be included when its a pretty obvious infringment/ripoff. I'd rather they NOT include shields so actually that whole wah wah wahing about shileds and the "people" is WRONG! I wouldn't vote for such a blatant ripoff power of Cap, ever.

There are other chars who use claws besides wolverine. Its how they made them look hero side that was the problem. EXACTLY like Wolverine's claws, complete with snickt like sound effect. Pretty lame and unoriginal. I would have liked more like Sabretooth or Lady Deathstrike with really long fingernail like claws instead.

Yeah I'd have to agree there. Most PvPers are very immature and out to ruin others day. I say REAL PvPers play FPS because at least there evreyone knows what they are getting into and it's harder to pull the bs of having better gear than your enemy all the time and then thinking your actually good at PvP. These are the kinda people who would punch out children and then think they are good at hand to hand combat.

Actually I notice for some of the villian badges you need to go to PvP areas. You don't need to kill anyone but for some of the accolade powers you need badges from PvP areas.

Ninja didnt have a true ninja sword. The ninjato is fake. A ninja using something that would instantly identify them as a ninja like that is a pretty stupid idea. I do like the ninja sword still but you wouldnt use it like a katana at all. I wish the ninja power set had shuriken. Whats a ninja with NO shuriken? Come on!

Hmm maybe as a blaster/corrupter power that could be kinda cool. :-p I know there are Shuriken as a Epic power.

Not to mention CoH/Cov Isnt ONLY influenced by comic books. It's got Anime influences too and TONS of anime characters use two weapons. There is also a bit of a martial arts theme with most scrappers and two blades is a perfect example of it. But I guess the OP thinks this game was made for him and him alone and that only what he wants matters and if the doesn't get it and something he doesnt like is in the game that crying about it will help. There's that super power no one's heard of in a comic before...

I see no point to PvP at all in this game other than measuring [Censored]. It's not like WoW where you at least get something for it in the end.
