    Work Area

My work area is any piece of paper I can get my hands on. I most write short stories and poems, but I want to get back to drawing. I used to do it, not the best, but I enjoyed it. I have this huge book, GIGANTIC and it's full of blank pages just waiting for me to sketch, draw and mess around in. I can't wait.

And there are exceptions to the rule.

Remember 100 bad drawings for every 1 good one!

It doesn't work that way for everyone Rowr. It sure as hell doesn't work for me. I need printed knowledge on tips and such.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Perhaps you missed the bolded part. Just wanted to point that out. It wasn't a personal attack on how you work your art. Just a friendly discussion on what they've perceived as what works for some...

    Cheers

  10. Definitely great tips that I never thought of before. Thanks. Especially for me, a noobishly nooblet noob stick drawer.

I still completely support 'Drawing From Real Life' though :P If you can find a good model (or yourself, in a mirror), it will help much more than already drawn pictures. Learn the way the REAL human body works, and then you can draw comic style or anime style pretty easily. Don't start with comic style or anime style first :P It'll handicap you later At least so I'm told. And there are exceptions to the rule.

Remember 100 bad drawings for every 1 good one!

That's probably why I've been having problems with my drawings. I try using those books and they don't do [bleep] for me. I know it's different for every person. But I honestly never thought of just getting a friend to stand there for me.

Leave your options open and you're more open to other options.

*shrug* I've listened to about everything out there (style wise) Can't stand most of it. Has something to do with all the years in dance and skating probably.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's a shame, you'd figure it would do the opposite.

    Tax E Girl - Empathy/Psychic Blast

Bio: Sweet, innocent and naive Kat O'Shea lived in The Hollows most of her life. Watching the Outcasts battling the Trolls in the streets she learned to survive after the death of her family. One day Kat heard the cries of a young girl. She went outside to see her trapped in the middle of yet another street fight. From deep inside her, she willed the girl to come to her side, but it was too late. The girl died in her arms but not before the girl muttered, "...save my family!" With her mind Kat found the little girls family being attacked by some Circle of Thorns. Kat had to decide whether to blast the Circle of Thorns or will the girls family to her side. She did both. Mustering all her strength, she healed the nearly fallen family members and dominated the Circle of Thorns. She brought the girl's family to safety and vowed she would not let another citizen be harmed. She would bring those back from the brink of death, she would recall those in need and aid her fellow heroes in blasting the enemies out of Paragon City.

Assessement: There is no doubt that Tax E Girl has "suffered for her cause". Many of the influential scientists of Paragon City would probably concur that the development of a hero such as her in a location as violent as The Hollows was inevitable. It is unfortunate that such an asset to our survival must be born from such tragedy. The only fear I, her counselor, would have is instability following continued emotional strain, but this is only a minor concern. I have no doubt that she will be a huge benefit as long as she continues to pursue a life in crime fighting. Recommend random (biannual) evaluations to establish continued emotional healing. Otherwise this hero should not be hindered in her desire to help civilians and other heroes in Paragon City.

    Too much info? hehehe
