There are a lot of really good active supergroups, and a few great villain groups as well. It's easy to find a lot of people to play with (especially in the evenings/late night). Groups like Hammers of Justice, Protectors of Neverland, Justice Force, and so many others are around and willing to include people new to the server in teams and conversation (coalition or vent).

You are far more brave than I. And I agree with you on the immortality thing- just think of all the books there would be time to read if you were immortal! Doesn't sound like a curse to me.

I have a lvl 5 DP/Traps Corr getting dusty, but am willing to roll something else if the team would prefer. All I seem to get to 50 are Corrs redside, so I'm not opposed to working on something else.

No worries, if it turns out that everyone wants to rejoin the team that just means that you had fun and ran well together. Have to appreciate and respect that, lol. But if there is a spot, I'll be around I'm sure.

I'll throw in a vote for Earth/TA as well. I've got two now, and though neither are lvl 50 yet they are fun to run around on. I feel like the master of holds and it goes to my head when I'm in the middle of an invasion and locking everything into place for the melee toons around me.
When I rolled my first Earth/TA I thought that it would be slow going, but as soon as I hit the mid-20s I realized I was having a blast solo or on teams, and rolled another on a different server. The baby has been solo and leveling just as fast as any of my scrappers, so my initial fears have been proven wrong.
I've been told that Earth/TA can also be a pvp powerhouse, but I'm not a pvp'er so can't speak about my own experience in that. Maybe one day. -
There are a lot of people having issues, if you look at the Tech forum. It crosses a lot of different kinds of computers and computer parts too.

There are a few around Champion, and I've seen many on Justice when I do laps on that server.

There were quite a few people who responded to the OP's idea by pointing out that this new channel seems like a subsection of existing, larger channels. This is not being snarky, it's pointing out redundancy.
But I still am left wondering- Where exactly are those people supposed to go after "getting out" of the first channel if they get jumped on for starting their own? Again, tone is how the reader perceives it and that's my opinion of what I've read thus far. -
