In Union WB is far more popular than SC from what i have seen.

If the new zone is anything like RV no thanks i ll pass.Imho there is no need for a new zone till the devs fix the current zones and give to pvp some rewards or some pvp system worth pvping for like a ladder of some sort and some good rewards from within the zones rather than the current pathetic reputation system.

- PvP a lot

- Try to PvP as much solo as your build allows you or as small teams as possible.

I dunno about the rest of the zones but in WB we had a team of 8 people and we simply killed everyone From the first villains that arrived in WB (we waited them at the entrance to kindly say hi) to the double nukes on the Gang kindly provided by Globe and me since jesus thats was a lot of MM's there.

Was a great event all and all and hope we do it again in a monthly basis. This is the reason i have decided to move on Union along with all my PvP toons.

I got the whole WB action on demorecord and will come up with a video as soon as possible.

I have to say it was a very nice surprise to see even roleplayers in there enjoying it and the whole atmosphere was friendly despite the carnage going on due to the FFA.

I am pretty sure we could come up with some more organised event in a monthly basis if we get some more interest in this and keep up the relaxed chilled atmosphere and good feeling of the zone like it was last night.

Thanks to all villains and all heroes that attended made the even so much fun

mmmmm it consumed way too much time and inf to get all the way up to that but here is a few quick tips i picked on the way


1 - If you really want the accolade and not want to grind the recipes be prepared to put the hand in pocket. I didnt have the patience to buy in AH so i used to buy the recipes from the craft tables.

If you have the patience use the AH or grind missions for the recipes.

2- Getting to the last required badge for crafting for the accolade is somewhat tricky. I grinded using the level 10 taunt recipe. Had cheap salvage for a low level and low craft costs

4- Get help from SG if possible. My SG agreed uppon me getting the accolade to accomodate the SG with IO's and they fully backed me up by chipping in with some cash when my cash was running dry due to IO'ing my controller at the same time

5- Try to do one badge at a time so u keep track and know what u need each time. Select carefully which of the enhancements is cheapest for each recipe and use it to grind the badge.

I cant get more specific if something else comes to mind i ll post it.

Unlike PvE pvp is a whole different ballgame and there are some pvp techniques that are common in every mmo and are essential to winning.

Damage Spiking

Spike Healing

Interrupts

Mezzing

PvP Defensive Pressure

PvP Dps Pressure


In this game Spiking is no 1 and unfortunately there is no interrupt in powers to effectively counter with few exceptions which aint that important.

aid self and in general spike heals is the best counter against spike dmg and the only one that devs have provided to pvp players. the other one is defense which is ofc waaaaaay to easily countered with a bunch of yellows and BU+AIM.

In other words aid self is working as intended in PvP and is definitely not overpowered.
